Just answer three questions and share what you're reading.
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue - Mackenzi Lee
I just started this one - as in I'm page 8 or so - but already Monty is making me laugh. Humble and modest he is not. :)

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
Sweet, funny, adorable, real.
Yeah, so maybe I wanted a little more from the ending, but it was still a totally enjoyable read and I was loving Arthur and Ben so hard.
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL READ NEXT?
After two YA novels in a row I'll be ready for something different so One Day in December might be calling to me.
What are you currently reading?
I wanna know! :)
I wanna know! :)
Cannot wait to hear what you think of The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue!!! I'm sooooo intrigued by that book!
ReplyDeleteIt’s been slow going because of the move (not a lot of reading time) but I’m about 65% in and enjoying it *so much*! Monty is a fantastic character and I just want to keep on reading about him!
DeleteOooh your current read is one on my TBR Tanya!!! Happy reading ;-)
ReplyDeleteI’m totally enjoying it, Sophie! I hope you will too!
DeleteThe Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue sounds awesome! I've been seeing it around and really need to read it. Hope you enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving that cover for One Day in December.
It’s so much fun, Nicci! History, humor, adventure, and romantic pining... what more could you want, right? :)
DeleteI am reading One Day in December this week (maybe starting tomorrow?) It looks so good.
ReplyDeleteAfter reading your comments about it I am so ready for it! I plan on reading it next! :)
DeleteI can't wait for What If It's Us! I need to check out One Day in December.
ReplyDeleteI hope you’ll love What If It’s Us as much as I did!
DeleteI'm currently rereading Vicious by V.E. Schwab so I can dive into Vengeful next! :)
ReplyDeleteI hear phenomenal things about V.E. Schwab but have yet to read anything be her.
DeleteYay for Gentleman's Guide!! I loved that book SO MUCH!
ReplyDeleteYay! I’m so excited to hear that! I’m more than halfway through and enjoying it so much!
DeleteI'm so glad you're loving Monty. I just started the sequel with Felicity and it's so good so far! And I have What If It's Us to read next. :)

I’m interested to see how things go with Felicity in this one. Right now she seems to be such a rigid - and rather disagreeable - girl. I mean, she’s super smart and practical... but not exactly a pleasure to be around. LOL
DeleteI've been putting off reading What if It's Us lol I've heard about the less than solid ending so I guess that I know this in advance - I should be ok. maybe...
ReplyDeleteThe Gentleman's Guide was long but fun!
Karen @ For What It's Worth
Gentleman’s Guide *is* long but also a lot of fun.
DeleteI hope you’ll love What If It’s Us! The ending wasn’t a bad one... just a bit open... and I fell in love with those two guys.
I hope you're loving The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue because it's one I want to read as well. :) I've not heard of One Day in December but I definitely understand the need to switch things up. Hope you're having a great week, Tanya!
ReplyDeleteGentleman’s Guide is totally fun, Brandee! It’s got a little bit of everything (history, adventure, humor, a bit of romance) and Monty is such a great main character. So, so funny.
DeleteI'm glad you're off to a good start with The Gentleman's Guide. Monty is hilarious!
ReplyDeleteHe so is, Suzanne! He is so self-absorbed and it makes for so much hilarious commentary. He’s coming around but he is still so funny.
DeleteI pretty much agree about What If It's Us. Cute for sure but didn't totally wow me. I need to read Gentleman's Guide too! One of these days soon I hope. I just started Vicious, since that is what Bookish Games is going to be this time around so... might as well! Hope you continue to enjoy GG!
ReplyDeleteGentleman’s Guide is so much fun. I’m totally enjoying it.
DeleteI hear such awesome things about Viscious! Even The Husband read it and enjoyed it.
The gentleman's Guide sounds fun. :)
ReplyDeleteIt’s totally entertaining, Greg. Like an 18th century road trip. LOL
DeleteYou have an awesome list of books here and some new to me authors too. Thanks for introducing!
ReplyDeleteDid you get The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue as an ARC? I've been really thinking about reading this book, I hope it's good!
ReplyDeleteNope, not an ARC. I bought the hardcover last year and it’s been sitting on my shelf all this time. Now that I’m enjoying it so much I’m kicking myself for waiting so long! :)
DeleteOh my gosh, One Day in December sounds epic -- and heartbreaking! I can't imagine happiness in a triangle like that, but I still want to know what happens!
ReplyDeleteYes!!! It totally sounds like my kind of book and I can’t wait to dive right in to it. Fingers crossed that it lives up to my expectations!
DeleteI see your getting into your seasonal stash, too! I always save my mystery/suspense books for fall, and then bust out the winter books for the end of the year! It's the perfect time to really enjoy them. Winter books mean hot chocolate, blankets, and snuggles.
ReplyDeleteLindsi @ Do You Dog-ear?
Oh how I wish for hot chocolate and blankets! It’s still hitting the 90’s here. *sigh* Maybe in November... LOL They keep lamenting the heat in Gentleman’s Guide and I’m thinking, “Yep, I feel ya.” :)
DeleteThe cover for One Day in December is sooo pretty!! I love it!!! Good luck with your reading <3
ReplyDeleteThe cover is what initially grabbed my attention. And the inside is just as good. :)
