Top Ten Tuesday: The Books on My (Non-Existent) Fall TBR

It's been a hot minute since I participated in Top Ten Tuesday (August 11, if you want to get technical) but this week's topic is an easy one, and a simple way to dive back into TTT.

Now we all know that I don't make TBR's. And even if I did I wouldn't stick to them.
But any excuse to make a list. And really, no excuse needed for a bookish list.
So here are the top ten books on my non-existent Fall TBR.

By the way, does it seem completely bizarre to anyone else that Fall runs through December 21st?
Doesn't December 21 sound like the middle of winter? Is it just me?

WHAT'S AT THE TOP OF YOUR FALL TBR?

  1. That is weird about fall lasting so long. I definitely think of fall as over right after Halloween lol. Or at least before December hits!

In A Holidaze looks fun. Love that festive cover!

    1. Right? How can fall not end until mid-December? I'm still puzzled by that one.

  2. A book like In a Holidaze looks good right now.

  3. I'm looking forward to the new Colleen Hoover book, and In a Holidaze sounds so fun! I need to read the second Wild book so I can read the upcoming release, too.

  6. December 21st?? Oh no! Fall ends the minute Thanksgiving is over for me! xD
All of these look wonderful! I didn't know Jewell had an upcoming book but I'll have to check it out.

  7. None of the "official" season dates make any sense here in Arizona. We have triple digits from about April to November, so it's basically just summer and winter here. I miss having real seasons!

INVISIBLE GIRL is on my list today, too. I've enjoyed several of Jewell's books, so I'm hoping this one is another good one.

    Happy TTT!

    1. I can relate, Susan. Here in Florida we just have summer and then slightly-less-hot summer. LOL

  12. December definitely already feels like winter, but then again September also feels like fall to me, even if it's still been super sunny here :) Your list looks great, I'm looking forward to In A Holidaze and Well PLayed as well!

  13. I have to say, Holidaze really put me in a good mood. These people knew how to celebrate Christmas. Hope you like it!

  14. I love making bookish lists too. I don't really worry too much about reading everything I say I want to read. LOL It's so weird that December 21st is the start of Winter. It feels like the middle of the season to me too. I always think of that when making seasonal bucket lists. So random!

  15. December 21st does feel like the middle of Winter to me, too. I just grabbed a copy of In a Holidaze up. I like the sort of "Groundhog Day" premise.

  18. This is why (among other reasons) I do not like fall- it's depressing that it is still "fall" three days before Christmas. No thanks. I just want summer back, frankly. Hope you enjoy these books!

    1. Yeah, it’s hard to wrap my head around that one. I’m with Suzanne... if Thanksgiving is over then so is fall. 😝

  19. I love fall but yes, it has always baffled me that it doesn't technically end until a few days before Christmas. In my mind, it's over when I'm done with my Thanksgiving leftovers, haha. Speaking of Christmas, I can't wait to read In a Holidaze. I've been hearing great things about it. :)

  20. I always thought our summer here in Australia was winter there. Our summer is from December to February technically, although March and April are still quite hot here as well. Colleen Hoover is a powerhouse author isn't she, I've lost count of how many of her titles I'm behind with.

    1. She’s definitely one of my favorites. I think I only have two left by her that I’ve not read (that are already published).

  21. Yes, December 21st is full on winter here. It does seem bizarre. I think Winter should be December 21st to January 3..then Spring again with summer beginning in May.

  22. What a great list! I have several of these on my TBR too!! Forever Wild, When You Come Back To Me and Layla. I just put Heart Bones up as a Book Club choice for next month. We definitely have the same taste in books ;)

  23. My hold on Well Played finally came through. I can't wait to read it! I also can't wait for The Brightest Night. Fingers crossed I can get an arc. I loved Heart Bones! And I'm definitely excited for Forever Wild! You have such a great list here!!

  24. It's just stupid autumn runs till 21st Dec this year... 21st Dec is winter solstice! It's 4 days before Christmas and Christmas is most definitely a winter thing! Grr... I'll go on believing autumn started early Sept and ends end of Nov, lol.
