Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
I love a good book quote. Whether it's one that makes me laugh, makes me think, or makes my heart melt, I'm there for them all. My physical books have multi-colored tabs sticking out, looking like confetti, marking all the quotes that, for whatever reason, meant something to me. My Kindle books have highlights throughout them for the same reason.
So here are some of my favorites. These aren't the most meaningful or the most profound. And taken out of context they may not have the same power. But they still have meaning for me.
HAVE YOU READ ANY OF THESE BOOKS?
DO YOU SAVE FAVORITE BOOK QUOTES?
Aw that Eleanor & Park one is cute. :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats Lightning!!!!!!
Yes! The Lightning did it! I've been OD'ing on videos of all the post-interviews today. lol
DeleteGreat list! I ended up not liking The Coldest Girl in Coldtown when I read, but I do love that quote.
ReplyDeleteI was surprised at how much I enjoyed The Coldest Girl in Coldtown. It really made a lasting impression on me.
DeleteI keep a list of favorite quotes, but I haven't added to it in awhile. I think my favorite is the Origin quote - it made me chuckle a little!
ReplyDeletePractically every quote from Luc in Origin had me laughing. :)
DeleteNothing like a teen book declaring he will be Boba Fett for you. =) Like the fancy graphics, Tanya.
ReplyDeleteLOL Thanks, Sam! Can you tell I spent a lot of time playing on Canva yesterday? :)
DeleteOh, I love that quote about broken souls being mended!
ReplyDeleteMy post .
When read in context it about broke my heart.
DeleteLOVE the quote from Boyfriend Material. That one had some amazing quotes. I have November 9 that I still need to read but that quote is gorgeous.

I feel like November 9 isn't a favorite among CoHo fans, but I really loved it. And that quote has always stayed with me.
DeleteI love passages that make me stop because of their beauty, their profundity, their cleverness, etc. It's always fun to find gems like these!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
It's such an individual thing, isn't it... to find a quote that just speaks to you.
DeleteI feel like Kennedy Ryan, Colleen Hoover and Amy Harmon are the quote masters. Everything they write has at least one profound quote waiting for me. Nice picks!
ReplyDeleteTotally agree, Deanna. With all three of those authors I feel like I could just tab/highlight half the book. :)
DeleteI'm so horrible at remembering quotes. There are SO many I love and highlight but draw a blank when I need them lol

I'm hit or miss with quotes. I go on a streak and save them and then I go ages and forget completely.
DeleteThe quote from The Coldest Girl in Coldtown grabbed my attention. Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteI loved Gavriel - the one who made that quote. :)
DeleteI read The Coldest Girl in Coldtown and loved it. It was a long time ago, so I don't remember that exact quote though. Great list here!
ReplyDeleteFor some reason that book made quite the impact on my and really stuck with me.
DeleteOoh, I love how emotional all of these quotes are. This reminds me that I need to read Where the Lost Wander -- I love that quote you shared from it 😍
ReplyDeleteWhere the Lost Wander was excellent! I hope you'll love it.
DeleteThat Star Wars one from Eleanor and Park just made my inner sci-fi geek smile. :)
ReplyDeleteEvery time I read that line from E&P I just want to hug Park. :)
DeleteS J Maas has the BEST quotes ever and ACOMAF was my favorite book EEVVVEEERRRRRRR!
ReplyDeleteI remember reading it, finishing it and reading it straight away again xD The final sentence in that book is a nice one too!
So much love for ACOMAF!!! ♥
DeleteYou just killed me with these!! So many of my favorites Tanya!!
ReplyDeleteWe know we're book twins! :)
DeleteI wish I was better at highlighting, I always forget to use it. I love that last quote!
ReplyDeleteThat quote from Where the Lost Wander really stayed with me.
DeleteThese are all some great quotes! My favorite has to be the one from Boyfriend Material though (and now I want to re-read) :)
ReplyDeleteI'll definitely do a reread of Boyfriend Material at some point. It was too good not to revisit.
DeleteI love the city of bones quote!
ReplyDeleteGah! That quote turned me into a puddle of mush. :)
