The Sunday Post #69

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's a chance to share news - a post to recap the past week on your blog,
showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is
coming up on your blog in the week ahead. You can find the info here:

  • Back with three posts this week after only managing one last week. #crushingit

  • I've spent much of the weekend convincing myself that I don't need the leopard print ankle boots I saw online. I'm weakening, though...

  • Still chugging along on the stack of ARCs that are coming due and feeling pretty pleased with my progress.

  • Am I the only one not caught up in solar eclipse fever??

How was your week? Any new books? Any news to share?

  1. Good for you, getting three posts up this week! WOOHOO!

Leopard print ankle boots...personally, I think you definitely need them ;)

Glad you're making good progress with the ARCs. And I totally understand the need to have a certain edition of a book for the cover. It's such a mission sometimes to find the right one at an okay price.

Hope you have a lovely week ahead, Tanya :)

    1. LOL I finally caved and ordered the boots last night. :) Everyone at the office is talking nonstop about the eclipse today and can't understand why I'm not interested. Meh.

  3. Everyone needs leopard in their lives, and well, I taught astronomy at one point, so I am pretty excited about the eclipse. I am also frustrated, as I will most likely be missing the bit we will see here in NJ due to a staff meeting. (seriously!)

    1. I figured the science lover in you would be pretty psyched about the eclipse! :) Hope you manage to see some of it before or after the meeting, Sam!

  9. I really enjoyed Deception So Deadly---hope you love it too! I'm curious about the eclipse and I'll probably take my class out to see it, but I wouldn't say I'm super caught up in it. It is sort of fun, though!

  11. I don't know...ankle boots are my jam. Every fall I buy an absurd number. And the solar eclipse hype is infectious, I think it I weren't on social media then I would care a lot less!

  13. Go for the boots... you do need them. I said so. ;) I am into the eclipse, but not so much outside. I watched it on tv but was disappointed in the reporting. It's cooler (temp wise)? That was all they could come up with? Oh well. :)

  15. haha I'd love a friend with benefits like that! LOL I think the eclipse is cool but I didn't really go crazy. I didn't have glasses so I couldn't watch it beyond seeing the cool crescent shaped shadows the leaves made.
