The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's a chance to share news - a post to recap the past week on your blog,
showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is
coming up on your blog in the week ahead. You can find the info here:
- Back with three posts this week after only managing one last week. #crushingit
- I've spent much of the weekend convincing myself that I don't need the leopard print ankle boots I saw online. I'm weakening, though...
- Still chugging along on the stack of ARCs that are coming due and feeling pretty pleased with my progress.
- Am I the only one not caught up in solar eclipse fever??

WHAT I READ IN THE LAST WEEK:
WHAT I'M CURRENTLY READING:
PHYSICAL BOOKS:
Wish You Were Here - Renee Carlino
Trust - Kylie Scott
I'm desperate to have a physical copy of Kylie Scott's Trust with the original cover. I thought I'd found one through a seller in Barnes & Noble's Marketplace but when the package arrived a few days ago... it was the new cover. *sigh*
KINDLE BOOKS:
Deception So Deadly - Clara Kensie
Mr. Everything - Emily Bishop
Finding Passion - Tiffani Lynn
How was your week? Any new books? Any news to share?
You know I want to hear about it! :)
Good for you, getting three posts up this week! WOOHOO!
ReplyDeleteLeopard print ankle boots...personally, I think you definitely need them ;)
Glad you're making good progress with the ARCs. And I totally understand the need to have a certain edition of a book for the cover. It's such a mission sometimes to find the right one at an okay price.
Hope you have a lovely week ahead, Tanya :)
Amy @ A Magical World Of Words
Yeah, three posts is usually what I strive for so I was feeling pretty accomplished. :) I totally caved and ordered the leopard boots. LOL Thanks Amy!
DeleteGo get those boots :) I am totally not caught up in the solar eclipse stuff. Not my bag. Yay for ARC progress. I still have a million. Oh well!!! Hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteLOL I finally caved and ordered the boots last night. :) Everyone at the office is talking nonstop about the eclipse today and can't understand why I'm not interested. Meh.
DeleteEveryone needs leopard in their lives, and well, I taught astronomy at one point, so I am pretty excited about the eclipse. I am also frustrated, as I will most likely be missing the bit we will see here in NJ due to a staff meeting. (seriously!)
ReplyDeleteI figured the science lover in you would be pretty psyched about the eclipse! :) Hope you manage to see some of it before or after the meeting, Sam!
DeleteOkay, so did you get the boots? We need a pic of them. :) I will not be going outside to watch the solar eclipse either. Enjoy the new books. Love the cover of Deception So Deadly.
ReplyDeleteHappy readin',
Jenea's Book Obsession
Oh yeah, I finally caved last night and ordered the boots. It was only a matter of time. LOL Everyone at the office is acting kind of obsessive about the eclipse today. *yawn*
DeleteLol at that friend with benefits. I think I would like to have that friend too.
ReplyDeleteLOL We all deserve a friend like that. :)
DeleteEveryone needs more shoes!! Life is short-get the boots!
ReplyDeleteAnd I want that kind of friend too...free books....all the free books...so hot!
LOL I love your reasoning, Samantha! Rest assured... I ordered the boots. :)
DeleteOooh! I got eclipse fever too! I'm actually preparing for it!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Post!
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog and join in this week’s Book Photo Sundays!
Got to watch out. Those boots will get ya eventually. LOL I seem to see more I want when on line shopping than in the stores. I guess the one click thing makes it seem easier. Enjoy those new books:)
ReplyDeleteMy Sunday Post
They got me, Laura! LOL I ordered the boots last night. :)
DeleteI really enjoyed Deception So Deadly---hope you love it too! I'm curious about the eclipse and I'll probably take my class out to see it, but I wouldn't say I'm super caught up in it. It is sort of fun, though!
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
I'm excited for Deception So Deadly! So glad I saw your review.
DeleteHope your class has a good view of the eclipse.
I'm pretty sure if you're weakening it's because you need those boots! Ha! Enjoy the eclipse and happy reading.
ReplyDeleteI like your reasoning, Olivia. :) Apparently I agreed because I ordered them last night. LOL
DeleteI don't know...ankle boots are my jam. Every fall I buy an absurd number. And the solar eclipse hype is infectious, I think it I weren't on social media then I would care a lot less!
ReplyDeleteGlad to know I'm not alone in my love of ankle boots, Amber. And I did order the leopard print ones. I can't wait until they arrive!
DeleteSure you don't NEED the leopard print boots, but what fun would life be if you only had what you need? Life is short - treat yourself!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL So right, Jane! And that's why I went ahead and ordered the boots. :)
DeleteGo for the boots... you do need them. I said so. ;) I am into the eclipse, but not so much outside. I watched it on tv but was disappointed in the reporting. It's cooler (temp wise)? That was all they could come up with? Oh well. :)
ReplyDeleteWell, since you think I need them... LOL They're actually already on the way. :)
DeleteI want to see those boots! Go for it. hehe. I LOVE ankle boots!
ReplyDeleteI didn't get to see too much of it and I wasn't really excited.
Totally agree with that meme, that's the best kind of friend with benefits. LOL ~Aleen
Ankle boots are the best! And I'll share a pic in the Sunday Post after they arrive. Because obviously I ordered them. LOL
Deletehaha I'd love a friend with benefits like that! LOL I think the eclipse is cool but I didn't really go crazy. I didn't have glasses so I couldn't watch it beyond seeing the cool crescent shaped shadows the leaves made.

I didn't have glasses either, Lauren but a lot of people at the office did so I did get to take a look. I just didn't lose my mind over it like some others were. LOL
DeleteI didn't even know there WAS a solar eclipse until I saw everyone talking about it XD
ReplyDeleteLOL I don't think you missed much. I heard from a lot of people that in many areas it was too cloudy to really see anything.
