The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's a chance to share news - a post to recap the past week on your blog,
showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is
coming up on your blog in the week ahead. You can find the info here:
- It's been a fairly low-key week for which I am incredibly grateful.
- The Husband attended a car show at Fort Rucker, AL on Friday and won the award for Most Patriotic. So excited for him! And the trophy is truly impressive.
- It's supposed to rain All. Day. Long. today and is the perfect opportunity to stay in comfy clothes, grab a drink, and read all day. Unfortunately I have things to do. Adulting is no fun.

How was your week? Any new books? Any news to share?
You know I want to hear about it! :)
Yay for a low key week! Congrats to your husband. I agree adulting is no fun at all. I can't wait to get Autoboyography!! It is high on my list. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAdulting totally ruined my Sunday. LOL I hope we’ll both love Autoboyography!
DeleteCongrats to your husband! It's always fun to win things. I just finished Top Ten this morning and other than the very end, I really liked it. I can't wait for you to read Autoboyography. I hope you love it!
ReplyDeleteWere you wanting more from the end? Or a different outcome altogether?
DeleteI’m hoping to pick up Autoboyography in the next week or two!
Congrats on your husband's win - how fun is that? I really want to read Autoboyography, so I'll excited to read your review!

Thanks Lauren! Autoboyography is on my (mental) TBR this month so hopefully it’ll happen. :)
DeleteWhoa, congrats! That trophy looks so bad-ass XD
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
LOL What’s funny is that that shared pics of the trophies on Facebook a few days before the event and my husband was saying how much he hoped he would win that trophy. Worked out well for him! :)
DeleteThe Lucky Heart is awesome!! You're gonna love it. Trust me. I loved it so much. 😁❤️
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a wonderful week. Happy reading.
So glad to hear that about The Lucky Heart, Geybie! Makes me even more excited for it!
Deletehaha love your cartoon! in a few months I'll be wishing I live in FL! Congrats to Hubby that is indeed an impressive trophy almost as impressive as the car! :)
ReplyDeleteHa! The cartoon is so true. Everyone is so excited about fall but all it means for me is slightly fewer days in the 90’s. LOL That car is my husband’s pride and joy. He needs his own room for all the trophies he wins... but instead they’re all in the home office which we share. Yay. 😉
Deleteomg!!! I could never share my home office with my husband! LOL that's my sanctuary! the equivalent of his cave which is the back patio :)
Delete"omg!!! I could never share my home office with my husband! LOL that's my sanctuary! the equivalent of his cave which is the back patio"
DeleteWell, if we had a 4th bedroom we would definitely have separate offices! LOL
The car show sounds like fun, AND WAHOO TO YOUR HUSBAND.
ReplyDeleteLOL Thanks Amber. Our house is kind of overflowing with his car show trophies. But he loves it.
DeleteI'm so stressed because I really want to read The Black Wolf and Behind The Hands That Kill, but I haven't even finished the first book in the series lol! Then once I do finish the first book, (if I ever do) I still have what, 4 or 5 other books to knock out? * sigh * How much convincing would it take for you to spoil me for most of the series so that I can catch up lol
ReplyDeleteWell you're barking up the wrong tree if you're looking to me for spoilers because I've only finished the first book. LOL In fact, it's been so long I'll need to reread or look for a recap/spoilers before I pick up book #2.
