Top Ten Tuesday: Favorite Authors, Unread Books

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week's Top Ten Tuesday topic:
Books I Have Not Read by My Favorite Authors

I usually inhale anything from the second it releases so I can't believe I haven't read this one yet.
A book by CoHo that I have not read? Shocking! I've seen such mixed reviews for this contemporary YA, but I'm looking forward to experiencing it for myself.
Somehow I never got around to this one before The Simple Wild came out so now I need to backtrack a bit and read this one.
I'm convinced Redmerski can do it all. I've loved her contemporary romance, her dark romance-thriller, and her post-apocalyptic dystopian. Now I need to dive into her new adult duology.
I really like Me Before You. And I *loved* The Girl You Left Behind. And this one has all the makings for another winner.
I love me some Becky Albertalli. And despite seeing a few meh reviews of this one, I'm still excited for it.
A JLA that I have not read? Gasp! Time to pull this one off the shelf and get it read.
I adore adore (see what I did there?) Krista and Becca Ritchie. They created the Addicted series, possibly my favorite contemporary series *ever.* So why have I not yet read Amour Amour? Time to change that.
I rarely talk about my undying love for The Tales of the City series and I don't know why. Maupin released this ninth book in the series in 2014 but I still haven't read it. Probably because I'm not ready to say goodbye to all the inhabitants of Barbary Lane.
I loved One True Loves. And The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hug was an absolute tour de force (amazing!) so why have I not inhaled everything by TJR yet? Good question.

Have you read any of these books?

  1. I just need to read SOMETHING by Colleen Hoover and Taylor Jenkins Reid. LOL I also need to read the rest of Albertalli's books - only read Simon Vs. so far.

  2. I keep saying I need to read something from K.A. Tucker and TJR. I think I am going to get Tucker's latest, because everyone is raving about it. Not sure where I will start with TJR, but the library has plenty of her books. I want to read more Moyes too. I read all three Lou books, and One Plus One (which was awesome). I want more of that.

    1. The Simple Wild is a good one to start with from Tucker. I really, really liked that one. (Note to self: must write that review.) With TJR, go straight for the gusto: The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo. So, so good!!

  3. I’m reading The Great Alone right now. So far, it’s pretty good. I need to read Leah, too. The reviews have been making me less enthusiastic about it, though.

    1. OMG only you would notice that I left that one off! LOL Yeah, I didn’t list it because I actually expected to be reading it by this point. There’s been little time for reading with the recent move but it’ll happen SOON! :)

    1. Why do we do that, LIly?! Because almost anytime there is a book I’m certain I will love (like from my favorite authors), I put it off and put it off and won’t let myself read it! I actually think I enjoy the anticipation as much as the actual reading experience.

  8. This topic is super fun!! I hate that I missed it!! I may have to put it up anyway lol!!! I still haven't read a book by Taylor Jenkins Reid. Any recs on which should be my first?! Good luck getting to all these books!! I have no doubt you'll crush them in no time.

    1. I hope you still do the topic... it’s a fun one!

One True Loves was my first by Taylor Jenkins Reid and I loved it. Some people read the synopsis and write it off as a love triangle but it sooo much more than that. It’s a story about loss and living and a woman coming to terms with what Life has dealt her. It is not the typical love triangle. Then there’s The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo which is amazing. I’d say you can’t go wrong with either of them!
