Top 10 of 2018: Books I'm Looking Forward to in 2019

And the wait begins. Some are coming in a matter of weeks, some almost a full year away. But these ten books have me waiting for their release in 2019. Bring on all the books!

Only a Breath Apart | Katie McGarry
I read very little YA anymore but I will always read Katie McGarry.
Daisy Jones & the Six | Taylor Jenkins Reid
I'm convinced TJR can do no wrong.
Be the Girl | K.A. Tucker
Tucker is one that never disappoints.
The Wicked King | Holly Black
Court intrigue and machinations + Cardan + Jude = I need.
What He Never Knew | Kandi Steiner
The guy not chosen now gets his own story? I'm so there.
The Bride Test | Helen Hoang
After loving The Kiss Quotient so much, I need more from Hoang.
Storm and Fury | Jennifer L. Armentrout
Zayne gets his own story? Yes! *fist pump*
The Son & His Hope | Pepper Winters
The Ribbon Duet is now a trilogy! And I need it now.
The Two Lives of Lydia Bird | Josie Silver
It'll be a long wait for this one but I already have grabby hands.
What the Wind Knows | Amy Harmon
Amy Harmon's writing never fails to elicit an emotional response.

What 2019 release are you most looking forward to?

  1. I'm looking forward to The Bride Test and K.A. Tucker's newest as well! I also love Amy Harmon! I didn't know about What the Wind Knows. I'll have to add that one. Great list here, Tanya!

    1. I feel like Amy Harmon just gets better and better. From Sand and Ash was just phenomenal.

    1. Same here! I'm still deciding between the physical book or the audio book. I'm sure I'll love it either way. :)

  3. I've only read one TJR book but it was quite good! And I definitely need to read The Cruel Prince soon so I can move right into Wicked King. :)

  7. Zaynes book has a name?! I like it! I can't wait to go back into that world... Although, I was always a Roth lover and never really liked Zayne, lol.

    1. I was always Team Roth, too! :) But I'll read Zayne's book if it means returning to that world. And we can hope for some Roth cameos. LOL

  8. I really want to read The Kiss Quotient, The Wicked King, To Kill A Kingdom, Bring Me Their Hearts. Oh so many. I also want to read some more horror/thriller books. I guess I am all over with my tastes in books so I would like to narrow it down to one or two genres.

    1. I'm always impressed when I see people read from multiple genres. I'm a total contemporary reader (and usually contemporary romance). I'm fine with that but I think it's great to be open to so many different genres.

  9. I'll be reading The Wicked King on January 8th along with everyone else. I'll probably wait for the Bride Test at the library, but I plan to read that too. The Ribbon books sound interesting but I haven't read any of those yet. She did have a free audiobook the other day to download (not in that series) so I'll be listening to that once I'm done listening to Storm Glass.

    1. I’m still deciding whether to get a physical copy of The Wicked King or go the audio route. I started reading The Cruel Prince and felt it started slow so I switched to audio and then flew through it. Either way, I’m excited for it! Hopefully we’ll both love it.

    1. The universe is speaking to you! :) My #1 book of 2017 was another by Amy Harmon, called From Sand and Ash. It was historical (WW II era Italy) and was simply amazing.
