WWW Wednesday #38 | January 23, 2019

WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
Just answer three questions and share what you're reading.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
Mouth to Mouth - Tessa Bailey
I just started this one and I'm a little on the fence about it so far. The guy's seems kind of like a jerk and the girl is too naive for words. We'll see how it goes.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
Only a Breath Apart - Katie McGarry
Finished this one last night and it was quintessential Katie McGarry. And I mean that in the very best way possible. Katie is my #1 go-to writer of YA contemporary and she never disappoints. My stop on the blog tour is Friday so my review will go up then.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL READ NEXT?
Verity - Colleen Hoover
I'm feeling ready to tackle Verity. I'm excited for what's in store with this one!

What are you currently reading?
I wanna know! :)

    1. I’m going to try it again another time. Or maybe try a different one by her. I haven’t given up. :)

  2. Wasn't Only a Breath Apart great? Classic Katie, but with a magical twist. I was into it, and you know that ending left me all super happy.

    1. My heart just hurt for Scarlett and what she had to deal with. I wanted to shake her mother. Gah! But that ending... loved it! :)

  3. I'm interested in your thoughts on Verity. I'm hit and miss with CoHo. I've enjoyed Tessa Bailey in the past but it's been a while since I picked up one of her books. Hope it ends up working out.

    1. I ended up setting aside the Tessa Bailey so I could go ahead and start Verity. Hopefully I’ll feel differently about the Bailey book another time.

    1. Everything I hear says Verity is different from anything she’s ever done, so I don’t know what to expect!

    1. Hm, I wonder if this is her usual kind of guy? I ended up setting it aside for now so I could start Verity. Hopefully I’ll feel differently when I pick it back up.

  7. I'm noticing a cover trend from Mouth to Mouth and Only a Breath Apart. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the latest Katie McGarry, though, I love her books. They are always enjoyable and are always quick and I'm always happy when I finish.

    1. I must be missing the trend... two people on the cover? *keeps looking and comparing* Katie McGarry is definitely my go-to when it comes to contemporary YA. I much prefer the realism over the light/cutesy options.
