Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's Top Ten Tuesday topic:
Most Anticipated Releases for the First Half of the Year
I actually only have 8 upcoming releases to share and I don't see any need to pad the list just to have 10... so I'm going with it. 😃
Jan 21: Whatever It Takes (Bad Reputation Duet #1) - Krista & Becca Ritchie
Jan 30: The Two Lives of Lydia Bird - Josie Silver
Feb 4: Yes No Maybe So - Becky Albertalli
Feb 25: Great and Precious Things - Rebecca Yarros
Mar 3: Wild at Heart - K.A. Tucker
Mar 10: The Honey-Don't List - Christina Lauren
Apr 29: Where the Lost Wander - Amy Harmon
Jun 9: Rage and Ruin (The Harbinger #2) - Jennifer L. Armentrout
What new release are you most excited for?
Great list! I haven't heard of Where the Lost Wander but it sounds really interesting. Hope you enjoy all of these!
ReplyDeleteAmy Harmon is one of my favorites so I have high hopes for Where the Lost Wander.
DeleteI'm excited for YES NO MAYBE SO!
ReplyDeleteSame here, Ethan. I've loved almost everything from Albertalli.
DeleteWhere the Lost Wander, Wild Heart and Great and Precious Things are on my list as well Tanya!
ReplyDeleteI have such high hopes for those, Sophie!
DeleteNo idea lol I haven't kept track of new releases for a long time. There are a few here that catch my eye though.
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's worth
For the most part I only pay attention to the upcoming releases of favorite authors. Otherwise I only know about new releases because I see other people mention them. :)
DeleteI want Rage and Ruin so much.. I'm ready for this forbidden love thing to hurt me.
ReplyDeleteLOL Bring on the angst!
DeleteI’m looking forward to Yes No Maybe So too. I haven’t loved Albertalli’s recent books, but I’m not ready to give up on her yet.
ReplyDeleteAj @ Read All The Things!
Leah on the Offbeat let me down but otherwise I'm firmly on Team Albertalli. :)
DeleteI am so excited about Wild at Heart, I pre-ordered it. I know! Who am I? CLo is a sure thing, since I have a ARC, and I am still hoping to get an approval for Lydia Bird, though, it is not looking good
ReplyDeleteYou? Pre-ordering? I'm sorry, who are you again? LOL But I can understand why... The Simple Wild was just THAT GOOD. Edelweiss quickly denied my request for Lydia Bird so I slunk away with my tail between my legs. LOL
DeleteThe Two Lives of Lydia Bird is one I'm really looking forward to!
ReplyDeleteMe too, Angela! It's been a long wait since One Day in December!
DeleteI'm looking forward to Wicked Bite by Jeaniene Frost and My Dark Vanessa.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy your most anticipated reads! :)
I see so many raves for Jeaniene Frost books!
DeleteYes No Maybe So looks fun. :)
ReplyDeleteI think so, too. Albertalli writes YA so well.
DeleteI should have included The Honey Don't List on my top ten. I don't know why I didn't! I'm excited to read it.
ReplyDeleteI actually haven't even read the synopsis of The Honey-Don't List... just knowing is Christina Lauren is good enough for me. :)
DeleteSame! LOL! I think I heard it's more of a funny romance than some of their most recent ones. I hope so!
DeleteThe Honey Don't List and Yes No Maybe So made my list this week too. I still need to read The Simple Wild but I loved my first K.A. Tucker read so I'm looking forward to that and the sequel.
ReplyDeleteAs many as I've read from Tucker, I still have several from her backlist that I haven't got to yet.
DeleteI don't have any of these on my list. I do want to read more from Christina Lauren though. I am buried deep in review books right now so I am trying not to look at new books (it isn't working!).
ReplyDeleteIt's so hard not to get distracted but all the new releases!
DeleteThe Two Lives of Lydia Bird, The Honey-Don't List, and Yes No Maybe So are all on my TBR. I'm avoiding the JLA book you mentioned since I had such a horrible time with the first book. You'll have to let me know how it is!
ReplyDeleteLindsi @ Do You Dog-ear? 💬
I remember that one not working for you at all. Hopefully you'll love the ones by CLo and Albertalli, though!
DeleteRage and Ruin almost made my list, but I ran out of room. I'm interested in the K.A. Tucker book, so will have to check that one out.
ReplyDeleteThe Simple Wild was excellent so I'm thrilled at getting a follow-up this year.
DeleteOmg, I can't believe I forgot the Two Lives of Lydia Bird! I'm really keen to check that out and I'm loving that cover! I'm super pumped for Wild at Heart too. I can already feel just how much that book is going to set my emotions reeling 😂 Great list, Tanya! Hope you enjoy all of these :)
ReplyDeleteI agree! I think Wild at Heart is going to be super emotional... and I can't wait! :)
DeleteI'm curious about Yes No Maybe So! And I'm sure you'll get tons of new ideas for your list if you read other TTT posts. LOL
ReplyDelete-Lauren
www.shootingstarsmag.net
That's true, Lauren! Although I'm happy to NOT keep adding to my TBR, too. LOL
DeleteI'm really bad at keeping up sometimes, but the two Christina Lauren one sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteI have high hopes for it!
DeleteA lot of these are on my TBR - and especially Rage and Ruin!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm super excited for Rage and Ruin... especially after how Storm and Fury ended!
DeleteI swear Christina Lauren releases a book every other day lol!!! Good luck with all these reads. I hope they're all 5 stars!
ReplyDeleteThey're definitely prolific! Maybe two writers means they can publish twice as fast as the others. LOL
DeleteYes... Great and Precious Things is on my radar. I'm not sure when I'll be brave enough to read it - The Last Letter sent me into a book hangover funk that took forever to break out of - but I want to read it very much.
ReplyDeleteRage and Ruin I'll read too... After I read Storm and Fury. I need to get to that at some point. JLA used to be an insta read on release but now I'm content to wait. I have no idea why though. :(
Definitely excited for Yes So Maybe No! The cover for Rage and Ruin makes me think I need to read this series hah. Also OMG Tanya as soon as I clicked on the Amy Harmon one and saw that it is OREGON TRAIL omg I have never added a book to my TBR faster so THANK YOUUU! (Actually true story, as I was typing this comment, I searched for this on Netgalley and now I own it 😂) Wild at Heart also sounds great (I have the first book on my TBR but I fail at things hah).
