Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
THIS WEEK'S TOPIC:
Books with Nature on the Cover
(flowers, trees, landscapes, animals)
I am the least outdoorsy person ever. I don't do outdoors. I don't commune with nature. I do not hike or camp - or even go onto my back patio. (It sounds like I'm joking, but it's true. lol) In fact, I firmly believe that the state of Florida should have a dome put over it and be fully air-conditioned.
But, in the spirit of Top Ten Tuesday, I will take a dive into nature... from a distance.
These book covers are about as close to nature as I ever come. :)
Have you read any of these books?
These are all great covers! I do enjoy being outside unless the weather is ridiculous. I do kind of like your idea of air-conditioning the entire state though.
ReplyDeleteI just can't seem to get everyone behind my wonderful idea. LOL
DeleteI don't mind being outdoors in the spring and fall, but I'm all for the idea of a dome to keep out extreme temps on either end of the spectrum, lol. Gorgeous covers though!
ReplyDeleteSadly, my dome idea doesn't seem to be catching on. LOL
DeleteWhere the Lost Wander has such a pretty cover.
ReplyDeleteMy post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-books-with-mountains-on-the-cover/
It's one of my favorites.
DeleteI love the covers on The Simple Wild series, they show off the landscape in such a beautiful way!
ReplyDeleteThat series has such gorgeous covers!
DeleteOh dear, oh dear, I'm so sad to think you are not a nature girl because I like your blog so much...there, there, it's okay, I like you anyway!
ReplyDeleteGood to know! :)
DeleteI love the cover for The Bookstore on the Beach! Here is my Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely makes me want to hit the beach with a good book. :)
DeleteA dome with air conditioning. I don't blame you. I like the outdoors, but they hate me right now. My allergies are killing me this year.
ReplyDeleteI love the covers you picked. Nature definitely calls from them.
The pollen (and other allergens) have been brutal this year!
DeleteLOL!! A dome!! I don't mind nature at all.. I wish I could go out more often to explore.
ReplyDeleteI haven't read any of these books. But the K.A. Tucker one has been on my TBR for a while since I loved the first book.
I hope you get to Wild at Heart soon, Maureen. It was so good!
DeleteOk, I do enjoy a good patio sit, but yeah, not a huge outdoors person. The Simple Wild books featured a LOT of nature and were probably great reinforcement for your position on the outdoors.
ReplyDeleteLOL So true, Sam. :) I would so be Calla if I was dropped in the wilds of Alaska.
DeleteI should have thought of Where the Lost Wander!!! Great choices!
ReplyDeleteThat cover fit the story so well.
DeleteI haven't read any of these books but the covers all look very nice especially the Wild at Heart cover!
ReplyDeleteI love the Wild at Heart cover! :)
DeleteThe cover of Where the Lost Wander - Amy Harmon is so pretty. I'd love to jump into the picture!
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT list this week.
It's a gorgeous one - and it fit the story so well!
DeleteWhere the Lost Wander is a cool cover!
ReplyDeleteAnd it fit the story so well. :)
DeleteLake Silence and Wild at Heart are my favorites. :)
ReplyDeleteLake Silence wasn't my favorite of The Others series but it definitely had a cool cover.
DeleteI do think nature on book covers can be done really well. I'm not a big outdoors person in real life either though!

I'm a total indoors kind of girl. No bugs, dirt, or heat for me. LOL
DeleteHaha, your opening made me smile! The Simple Wild series remains one of my favorites. And Where the Lost Wander is on my tbr. Nice choices!
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll love Where the Lost Wander when you get to it, Dedra!
DeleteLOL! Too funny! I am definitely a nature girl, but once it gets too hot, I need my A/C, too. Great covers (and some great books, too)!
ReplyDeleteFrom April thru November I just move from one air conditioned place to another. LOL
