It's a chance to share news: a post to recap the past week on your blog, showcase books,
and share what's coming up on your blog in the week ahead.

Tomorrow makes two weeks that I've been sick. Ugh. While I'm decidedly better than I was a week ago, I still have some symptoms that are lingering. And the fatigue. I had a virtual visit with my doctor on Thursday and, after ruling several things out, he decided it's probably an upper respiratory infection. I have a prescription for the cough which is already helping. I've reached the point of just being sick and tired of being sick and tired. 😒
I've been too wiped out to blog hop so I apologize for the lack of visiting/commenting. Hopefully I can pick back up with that this coming week.
I'm looking forward to the Super Bowl tonight. I have zero investment in either team but since the Bengals beat the Chiefs and ended their playoff run, I'll be pulling for the Rams. Ha!

I hope you feel better soon! That's a long time! And yes to your song choice- playing it LOUD :)
ReplyDeleteThere's no other way to play The Ramones but loud. :)
DeleteTwo weeks is two weeks too long to be sick. I hope whatever you have runs its course and leaves soon.
ReplyDeleteI hope so, too, Sam!
DeleteAww, hope you feel better soon, Tanya! My sister and I have both been fighting sore throats/coughs for about two weeks also.
ReplyDeleteThanks Angela. I hope you and your sister are feeling better!
DeleteI am so sorry to hear that you have been sick Tanya! I was wondering why I didn't see posts but now I have my answer! Don't worry about blog hopping! We do what we can and this week I have been so tired that I didn't blog hop a lot either. Get better soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sophie. Yeah, just haven't felt up to reading and commenting. Hopefully we'll both be back to business this week.
DeleteHope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI always love your song choices!
Thanks so much, Alicia!
DeleteI'm sorry you're still feeling under the weather. That's no fun. I hope your reads are at least bringing you comfort. Hopefully the medicine will kick in and make things much better. Great music choices for the illness today.
ReplyDeleteThanks Deanna - I hope so, too. I thought the song was pretty fitting. LOL
DeleteI never watch football but this year, as a way to remember my father (he loved football) I'm going to watch the Super Bowl.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry you're still sick. That sucks! Hopefully with the meds, you'll be right as rain soon.
Aw, what a great way to remember your father, Carrie.
DeleteHi Tanya! *crazy waves* It's been ages... :( Sorry to hear you're sick! Fingers crossed you improve over the coming week.
ReplyDeleteI laughed too hard at your random... I 100% relate.
Hey Nicci! Miss you, lady!!
Deleteoh I hate being sick with anything. Staying home unless fully masked has worked out well for us. I hope you are feeling much better soon.
ReplyDeleteAnne - Books of My Heart This is my Sunday Post
Thanks Anne. I can't imagine how I got sick (rarely leave the house, always masked, etc) but somehow it got me. I'll be glad when it's all cleared up!
Deletesorry to hear you are still feeling sick. i am warming up to the super bowl with the puppy bowl. cheesy but cute

Yes! Was so happy to see the Rams win it last night!
DeleteHope you feel better soon! And you should root for the Bengals because they are the underdog for sure!
ReplyDeleteThanks Samantha. I actually thought the Bengals had for a whole... till there at the end.
DeleteOh so sorry to hear you've been sick. Two weeks is entirely too long to be sick! I can manage a day or two before I'm just absolutely done with it all. Love the song choice! Have a wonderful week.
ReplyDeleteRight? I'm so over being sick. Hopefully this is the tail end of it!
DeleteI hope you are feeling better soon! We are not watching the Super Bowl, i will be reading :) Have a great week. https://cindysbookcorner.blogspot.com/2022/02/stacking-shelves-10-sunday-post-7.html
ReplyDeleteThanks Cindy! Hope you enjoyed your reading last night!
Deleteoh no!! You are still feeling sick? I am so sorry darling. That must really be so tiring for you. I know those infections can be bad.
ReplyDeleteI hope you really love A heart of Blood and Ashes, its so so good!!!
Ugh, totally tiring! And I'm excited to start A Heart of Blood and Ashes!
DeleteI'm sorry to hear you're still feeling sick, Tanya! I hope you feel better quickly!
ReplyDeleteHubby's watching the game on and I'm mostly popping in to watch the commercials. We're in So Cal so I'm rooting for the Rams, too.
Thanks Rachel. I was happy to see the Rams win. And while I wasn't blown away by the commercials there were a few good ones.
DeleteI'm so sorry to hear you're still feeling under the weather. I really hope you start to feel better soon. I'm watching the Super Bowl while blog hopping but I'm not really rooting for anyone so it's mostly just background noise, lol.
ReplyDeleteThanks Suzanne. I actually stayed up for the whole game, which I didn't intend to do. But it was a good time - with good snacks. LOL
DeleteI am so sorry that you are still feeling sick! That's horrible! Hopefully, this will be a much better week for you. I am cheering the Bengals on. I am from St. Louis and we are rather bitter over how the Rams left the city. They don't deserve to win :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Carole. Too bad about the Bengals... it looked like they had it for a while there.
DeleteSo sorry you've been sick for so long. Praying it ends very soon!!
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Thanks Nicole... I'm so ready to feel good again!
DeleteI don't watch the Olympics or Super Bowl so it was just a normal week for me.
ReplyDeleteI hope you finally turn a corner and feel better this week!
Karen @For What It's Worth
Thanks Karen - I do, too!
DeleteI'm so sorry you've been sick. I hope you feel better soon. As a Rams fan, I'm glad they won yesterday!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Wendy... and it was exciting to see the Rams win it!
DeleteI hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteThanks Aj!
DeleteOh no! I'm sorry you're still not better. Hopefully, it'll pass soon. I hope you get to read Heart of Blood and Ashes sooner than I have. I think it's been on my shelf for at least 6 months.
ReplyDeleteHope you are starting to feel better. I was sick for a while at the end of the year/beginning of the year and it's rough! You're just so over it. hah
