This week's Top Ten Tuesday topic:
Book Titles That Include Character Names
For some reason I thought this would be a tricky topic, but once I started perusing my Goodreads shelves... not so much. Turns out I've read plenty of books with character names in the titles. Who knew?
Loved Josh and Hazel and Archer's Voice! Great choices, Tanya!
ReplyDeleteI'm actually quite surprised at how many titles include character names! I definitely thought it would be harder!
ReplyDeleteWe have some of the same covers/titles today! YAY! But I'm mad I didn't think to include Preppy!
ReplyDeleteI was pleasantly surprised at how easy this topic was! Daisy and Lydia made my list, too.
ReplyDeleteArcher's Voice was so so good!
ReplyDeleteYes!!! I've been wanting to reread it lately.
DeleteMy list was so long when I started it that I had to narrow down the criteria. There are a surprising amount of books out there with character names in the title. I haven't read any of the books on your list but Simon Vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda is on my to read list. Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Simon if/when you get to it!
DeleteSimon, Daisy and Josh and Hazel made my list as well! I've heard a lot of great things about Rafe, I'll need to try that one out.
ReplyDeleteRafe was a fun one. I loved that there was no silly drama. Just two adults acting like adults - imagine that!
DeleteThis was a tricky topic for me for some reason. I guess I just don't read a lot of books with character names in the titles. I twisted the topic and focused on biographies/memoirs that I want to read.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Sometimes certain topics just don't work for me, either, and I do my own thing.
DeleteLydia Bird almost made my list, but I go backwards from last to first read. It was older read for me. Josh & Hazel -- they need a follow up book. I loved them!
ReplyDeleteYes! I would love another visit with Josh and Hazel. :)
DeleteDamn I missed Daisy Jones and Eleanor and Grey!
ReplyDeleteI think Eleanor & Grey was on my mind because I'd recently read it. :)
DeleteWhat a great list of books! So many of these I still need to read. Happy TTT. :D
ReplyDeleteThank you! :)
DeleteI have not read any of these books but Layla is on my TBR.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy it when you get to it!
DeleteGreat list! I see so many of my favorites like Daisy Jones, Josh & Hazel, and Simon of course. :)
ReplyDeleteSimon is such a favorite. Love him. :)
DeleteDaisy Jones how come I have not read that yet arg
ReplyDeleteI feel that way about waaay too many books! :)
DeleteGreat list, Tanya! Daisy Jones and Josh & Hazel were probably the most popular titles I saw on today's lists! Great books 😍 I loved Rafe, too and I can't wait to read Lydia Bird!
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed you'll love Lydia Bird!
DeleteI really want to read Archer's Voice.
ReplyDeleteLoved that one, Carrie!
DeleteLoved Josh & Hazel and Simon, but Daisy Jones was just okay for me. Lydia Bird and Layla are on my tbr! Great choices!
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Lydia Bird and Layla when you get to them!
DeleteFor once - several! lol Archer, Heidi, Daisy Jones, Simon, Rafe and the never fails to make me happy just by seeing the names - Josh & Hazel.
ReplyDeleteKaren @For What It's Worth
You can't not smile when thinking about Josh & Hazel :)
DeleteI have only read two from your list - Layla and Heidi's Guide. I will never catch up with my poor tbr.
ReplyDeleteLOL I can relate, Carole. :)
DeleteDaisy Jones and Simon are high on my list! :)
ReplyDeleteLoved both of those! :)
DeleteDaisy Jones is the only one that I've read from the list! I want to read Simon soon though.
ReplyDeleteclaire @ clairefy
Simon is such a longtime favorite. :)
DeleteI haven't read any of yours, but I do see Daisy Jones and also Layla, both books that I thought about picking up last year to read. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Layla and Daisy Jones if you decide to pick them up, Mia.
Deleteooh this is such a unique list and what a topic. I have been wanting to read Archer's voice so badly and I really need to bite the bullet and do it. Its just so hyped that I am scared I won't enjoy it lol I also want to read Rafe as I have heard so many good things about Rebekah Weatherspoon.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same about hyped book, Renee. But, IMO, Archer's Voice deserves it. :)
DeleteI've read Daisy Jones and Simon Vs. I still need to check out Josh and Hazel!
