The Sunday Post #76

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's a chance to share news - a post to recap the past week on your blog,
showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is
coming up on your blog in the week ahead. You can find the info here:

  • I am so over the heat. It was almost 90 yesterday and will be again today. Ugh! I am desperate to transition to cute fall clothes but as usual Florida is not cooperating. LOL
  • My obsession with boots continues and I love my newest pair so much that I look like the heart eyes emoji. Floral velvet ankle boots. I just can't.

  • Yesterday was such a busy day (had to drive out to the beach to pick up something for my sister's birthday, ran errands with The Husband, and just generally stayed on the go all day) so I'm looking forward to a much more relaxed day today.

#2017HW Report Card - 3rd Quarter

WHAT I READ IN THE LAST WEEK:
His Convenient Husband - Robin Covington
Unraveling Oliver (AUDIO) - Liz Nugent

WHAT I'M CURRENTLY READING
Who Do You Love - Jennifer Weiner
Asa (Audio Re-read) - Jay Crownover

PHYSICAL BOOKS:
Without Merit - Colleen Hoover
Trust - Kylie Scott

You might remember that I searched and searched for a copy of Trust with the original cover. I thought I'd found one but when it arrived it was the new cover. *womp womp* I randomly checked eBay a week or so ago and BOOM! Found one! I ended up paying a RIDICULOUS price for it but I seriously wanted it so...  As a nice bonus it came with a signed bookplate. So excited to have this original cover now!

KINDLE BOOKS:
If You Were Mine - Melanie Harlow

How was your week? Any new books? Any news to share?
You know I want to hear about it! :)

  1. The weather is hideous here too. I think this was the first time it was almost 90 degrees on my birthday. Ewwww. I think we have two hot days, and then it is supposed to cool off. I hope it gets cool soon, so you can wear your cute new boots. I don't know why they changed the cover of Trust. Maybe they didn't feel it was YA enough.

    1. I hope it does cool off for you this week. The "cooling off" here will be to a balmy 84 degrees. LOL Yeah, that's all I can think of with Trust. I have never seen a book get a cover change so quickly. It was like, it released and then bam the cover changed. Strangest thing. But I finally found the original and I'm a happy girl now. :)

OMG, I love those boots. They are so cute- I'm loving all things velvet.

I could really use some cooler weather too. It was nice today but it also rained a ton so you know...

  6. I saw a pair of ankle boots at Target that I absolutely loved but didn't get. They were blue and silver colored with floral print. I just didn't know how to pull that look off. I tried them on, but wasn't sure. I'm still thinking about them. lol.

Glad you found the book you wanted.

Hope you have a great week! ~Aleen
