Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's Top Ten Tuesday topic:
My Winter 2021 TBR
So we all know that I don't make TBR's and I am 100% a mood reader and would never stick to a TBR even if I made one, blah blah blah, but we also all know that I love a good list and will never turn down a chance to make one. So in that spirit, here are my top ten books that may or may not get read this winter.
Side note: Does it seem super weird to anyone else that winter doesn't actually start until December 21 and runs through March 20? Like right now it's mid-December but it's still fall? And mid-March in Florida is practically pool weather. Who comes up with these dates, anyway? (rhetorical question... I don't really care 😉)
Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover
Running Wild by K.A. Tucker
The Family You Make by Jill Shalvis
Shenanigans by Sarina Bowen
The Reunion by Meghan Quinn
One Night on the Island by Josie Silver
Reverie and Redemption by Kaydence Snow
A Stormy and Sultry Sea by Katie McGarry
The Best Men by Sarina Bowen & Lauren Blakely
The Becoming by Nora Roberts
ARE ANY OF THESE BOOK ON YOUR WINTER TBR?
I go by the meteorological calendar which is just December, January and February. Ask anyone in the street right now in the UK and they'd tell you it's winter!
ReplyDeleteI wish it felt like winter here. :)
DeleteI hadn't heard of Silver's & Tucker's newest books but I've seen them on lists everywhere today! I'm very excited to add both to my TBR wishlist 😍 The Reunion also looks really good and I'm already ready to find it on KU when it's out. Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for The Reunion! Meghan Quinn never seems to disappoint.
DeleteOne Night on the Island sounds fun!
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to that one - Josie Silver is wonderful.
DeleteI need to catch up on KA Tucker and Sarina Bowen! I love them so much.
ReplyDeleteGenesis @ Whispering Chapters
Sarina Bowen is such a go-to-author for me. She never, ever disappoints!
DeleteI live in the Phoenix area and our weather doesn't follow ANY rules! LOL. It's icky hot from April to November, so it pretty much always feels like summer.
ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy these reads if and when you get to them. Happy TTT!
I can relate since I'm in FL. There has been many a Christmas with the AC running!
DeleteI love Sarina Bowen, so The Best Men is going on my list right now!
ReplyDeleteMy list is here— https://fiftytwo.blog/2021/12/14/ttt-top-winter-picks/
Happy TTT!
Lori
I just adore Sarina Bowen. She never disappoints! :)
DeleteWe have some of the same books on our list, of course. Somehow, I forgot to add Shenanigans, though! How did I forget that one?
ReplyDeleteDon't forget Shenanigans! I can't wait to get Drake's story. :)
DeleteAhh, so looking forward to the new Tucker and Silver books!
ReplyDeleteSame, Angela! I have high hopes for both.
DeleteJust added Shenanigans to my TBR! And yeah, I find the seasons very strange sometimes ... it's so weird to me that it's not ACTUALLY Winter yet. hah
ReplyDeleteLauren @ www.shootingstarsmag.net
Shenanigans should be so much fun! I love the world of the Brooklyn Bruisers. :)
DeleteHaha I was just thinking the same about December technically still being mostly autumn - so weird! Hope you'll enjoy all of these. I'm also looking forward to Running Wild.
ReplyDeleteI'm so excited for Running Wild and a return to Trapper's Crossing.
DeleteIt still feels like fall here because we've barely gotten any snow! Usually, we're buried in it by now. I bet the snow will come in spring. That seems to happen often. I hope you love these books!
ReplyDeleteYou've barely had any snow and it's in the 70's here... what's up with that? :)
DeleteHope you enjoy all these reads! I've always found it weird, the whole "official start" of seasons thing, I'm like, when it hits 1st December, it's winter!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: https://jjbookblog.wordpress.com/2021/12/14/top-ten-tuesday-346/
Totally agree! December 1 should definitely be winter. :)
DeleteI'm with you on this one haha. It is 80 degrees in Texas today, making it very hard to stay in the winter spirit.
ReplyDeleteI can relate, Ethan! It's supposed to be 83 here today. Ugh!
DeleteI agree with you about who makes the dates! It's been winter-like here in my part of Canada off and on since October. Then again Saturday was very spring-like.
ReplyDeleteI hope to read the Josie Silver book at some point.

I've been so impressed with Josie Silver so far.
DeleteI am eager to start the Quinn book. I got The One Night today and hope to read them both in a row. I am really behind on Bowen's books too. Need to get on those.
ReplyDeleteBowen releases so quickly that it's hard to stay on top of them! :)
DeleteI just finished The One Night, which is apparently a prequel to The Reunion, and now I can't wait to read The Reunion because I really need more of Nora and Cooper.
ReplyDeleteI was planning on skipping The One Night but the more I see people talk about it the more I want to read it. :)
DeleteRunning Wild and The Family You Make are ones I want to get to as well. Sarina Bowen, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for The Family You Make. It will be my first by Shalvis.
DeleteI've always thought it weird about those dates! I mean it's cold enough here I consider it winter right now lol. anyways... your books look found. One Night on the Island especially. Love the cover. :)
ReplyDeleteI'm excited for One Night on the Island. I've been impressed with Josie Silver so far.
DeleteIs a Stormy and Sultry Sea fantasy?
ReplyDeleteAlso I haven't read a Shalvis book in so long, happy reading!
It is! You know I'm not a fantasy reader but since it was Katie McGarry I decided to give it a try. The first book was A Wicked and Beautiful Garden. I couldn't keep up with all the lore (it felt like a lot, but that's probably just me) but I still enjoyed it.
DeleteWinter dates ARE so weird. ;) I can't wait to get to Silver and Tucker's new ones. And it's been a few years since I read a book by Hoover. I already own several. I need to get caught up! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteColleen Hoover is a longtime favorite and one of the few that I actually pre-order.
DeleteI'm like you - I have no plans for what I'll be reading. I just hope it's something lol
ReplyDeleteIt feels like winter to me. I've been freezing my tushy off lol
Karen @For What It's Worth
I wouldn't know about that... it's 80 here today!
DeleteI like a good reunion story and The Reunion by Meghan Quinn seems like a good one.
ReplyDeleteHappy reading!
I'm excited for that one and Meghan Quinn never seems to disappoint.
DeleteI am intrigued by CoHo book ...
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to start the new year with a CoHo book. :)
DeleteA Stormy and Sultry Sea looks good!
ReplyDeleteI'm excited to continue the series!
DeleteI agree! Especially since it's already been snowing for forever, it's definitely winter here lol. I'm really looking forward to The Family You Make by Jill Shalvis too! I love her books and I have high hopes for this one ♥.
