The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's a chance to share news - a post to recap the past week on your blog,
showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is
coming up on your blog in the week ahead. You can find the info here:
- It was a week of getting things back in order after having company and returning to our regular routine. And I'm starting to count the days until we get away for some R&R. Lazy days of poolside reading is just two weeks away!
- Epic Reads had a fun post on their blog this week: Twelve Things from Target You Never Knew You Needed for Your Book Obsession. Since Target is my second home, I had fun checking out their picks. :)

Top Five Books I Read This Quarter
WHAT I FINISHED IN THE LAST WEEK:
WHAT I'M CURRENTLY READING:
The Ones Who Got Away (The Ones Who Got Away #1) - Roni Loren
Only 50 pages in but definitely enjoying it.
WHAT I'M CURRENTLY LISTENING TO:
Lick (Stage Dive #1) - Kylie Scott
This has been such a fun listen and I'll definitely continue with the series.
KINDLE:
What He Doesn't Know (What He Doesn't Know Duet #1) - Kandi Steiner
I feel like I've been seeing this one everywhere lately and I couldn't resist when it went on sale.
eARCs FOR REVIEW:
The One You Can't Forget (The Ones Who Got Away #2) - Roni Loren
If Only - Jennifer Gilmore
Moonlight Seduction (de Vincent #2) - Jennifer L. Armentrout
I may have actually squealed when I got the approval for this one. :)
WON:
Unexpected Eden (Eden #1) - Rhenna Morgan
I won this from a giveaway Rhenna had on Facebook. It's been a while since I read a really good paranormal romance so I have high hopes for this one.
How was your week? Any new books? Any news to share?
I'd love to hear about it!
Lazy days of reading sound wonderful! Hope you have a good rest of the weekend :)
ReplyDeleteYep, that week of R&R can't come soon enough! :)
DeleteOh no, I'm gonna have to go check out that Target post now lol. I hope you get some relaxation soon!
ReplyDeleteI was actually just at Target last night. I think I get a gold star for not pulling up the list while there and buying it all. :)
DeleteI want a lazy day reading by the pool too. I so want the shirt that they have in the Twlve Thungs list. And the pineapple book ends too. Hope you have a great week Tanya!
ReplyDeleteThat t-shirt was so cute, but it was the bookends that I really want. :) We obviously have great taste!
DeleteOh man! I haven't gone to Target for awhile now. I usually do most of my book shopping at Wal-Mart and 2nd and Charles. I need to check out Target to see what books they have! Hope you have a lovely week!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my Sunday Post!
Ronyell @ Rabbit Ears Book Blog and join in this week’s Book Photo Sundays and Cover Spotlight!
It was fun to see what EpicReads included on their Target list. May favorite were the bookends. Must haves! :)
DeleteLazy days poolside sounds like a dream! Oh I love me some Target - I need to check out that article. Hope you have a great week and enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteI managed to spend $60 at Target just last night... and still didn't get a single thing off that list. LOL
Deleteoh.. I don't think I should click on that target list, It could get me in trouble heh
ReplyDeleteSo true, Lily! I saw way too much I wanted. :)
DeleteHow nice! I'll count down the days with you, since my countdown is much longer... June! *sigh* I can't wait for a break. I try to avoid Target because I love it too much lol! So I better avoid that post :)
ReplyDeleteHave a great week and enjoy all those great books you grabbed!
Ugh, your countdown is much longer. Sure hope it goes quickly for you!
DeleteI know what you mean about Target... once you walk in the door you're done for. LOL
I am heading out to Target in about an hour, so of course, I clicked that link. I love magnetic bookmarks, but I have a bunch and hardly ever read a physical book. Now if I had seen one of those book flattener things, I may have made a purchase. Yeah! I am so glad you liked Bittersweet. One of the few adult contemporary romances to earn 5 stars from me.
ReplyDeleteOf all the times to see that article... right before you're heading to Target. LOL A book flattener thing? You've lost me, woman. Haha. I can't wait to read the rest of the True North series.
DeleteLazy days by the pool with some good books sounds amazing, Tanya. I'm sure you're having an internal countdown.
ReplyDeleteYour new books look really good - I just read my first Vi Keeland / Penelope Ward book today, and I loved it.
Have a wonderful week ahead and happy reading.
Lexxie @ (un)Conventional Bookviews
Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward totally impress me with their mix of humor and emotion. Bossman has been my favorite so far. I actually got teary at parts - but then again I'm a total sap. :)
DeleteCongrats on winning a giveaway :) have a great week!
ReplyDeleteAlways exciting to win a book! :)
DeleteI have all of the books you are currently reading on my Kindle. LOL It is just right now I am flying high on an UF and Paranormal binge. Oh the lazy poolside reading sounds so freaking' wonderful. I am jelly! Hope the week ahead is wonderful. Now I am off to see what Target has that I need!
ReplyDeleteGreat minds must think alike! :) I've been seeing that you're reading/reviewing the Iron Druid series. My husband is currently reading that one and is on book 5, I think. He keeps sharing dialogue from a dog. LOL
DeleteLots of amazing reading going on this week. I loved The One Who Got Away and Lick. I need to add Bittersweet to my list.
ReplyDeleteKristin @ Book Sniffers Anonymous
I'm really into The Ones Who Got Away. I don't know what it's classified as, but it's so much more that a romance. Lick has been a lot of fun and I'm excited to continue the series. :)
DeleteIt's always nice to get back to a routine. Especially with a vacation coming up! Hope your new reads are good- If Only has me curious. that's the kind of cover that usually gets my attention. :)
ReplyDeleteYep, I'm definitely glad the company happened *before* vacation. If it was after I'd need another vacation to recuperate. Ha!
DeleteAh, a lazy day by the pool, reading a good book. I could really go for that too! I hope you had a good time with your visitors, but yeah, it's always nice when they leave. LOL

Yeah, you know what they say about company after three days... well, mine was here for almost five days. LOL
DeleteWhat He Doesn't Know sounds really interesting but I'm a little nervous to read it if I'm honest. I'm sensing infidelity and I believe there is a love triangle.
ReplyDeleteI'm still going to read it, I know I am, but as I said... Nervous. :/
I know what you mean. The title alone has me wary but I keep seeing rave review after rave review so I'm willing to give it a try. I hope it doesn't disappoint us!
DeleteI enjoyed that Target post too! I spend a lot of time at Target... it's one of my favorite places to shop.
ReplyDeleteSame here... there's always something I "need" at Target. :)
DeleteI'm sort of obsessed with Target as well. I'll have to go check out that post...
ReplyDeleteNicole @ Feed Your Fiction Addiction
Target can be a dangerous place... there's always so much I "need." :)
DeleteSunday was my first R&R day in a while. It felt soooo good!
ReplyDeleteDoesn't it, though! Between work, company and some family health issues, I am so ready for some down time!
DeleteI need a day of R&R too! Reading by the pool sounds awesome.
ReplyDeleteAlso Target is the best place
Reading poolside is pretty much my favorite thing ever. :)
DeleteOh man...that dollar section in front at Target is my kryptonite! lol
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
Yes! They definitely know what they're doing because I can't make it past the dollar spot without loading up. LOL
DeleteG;ad to hear you are returning to your routine! ahhhhh R&R I'm so happy for you!two weeks!
ReplyDeleteI'm in a slump right now so CALLING ALL THE SHIRTLESS HEROES!!! LOL Only paranormal romance heroes know how to save me from slump so I'll check out Eden! :)
Now off to check that Twelve Things from Target post! Because when the shirtless heroes is not enough.. retail therapy in Target! Best medicine for reading slumps, colds, broken hearts... EVERYTHING :) Almost as good as wine ;-)
Noooo! Not a slump! If I find any shirtless heroes wandering around I'm sending them straight to you. But can I keep just one for myself? *insert puppy dog eyes*
DeleteAnd yes, Target cures all ills! :)
of course we can share our heroes!!! What are girlfriends for??? Keep all you want. Just send me at least ONE LOL
DeleteI have been wanting to try Sarina Bowen and Roni Loren. 2 weeks will be here in no time for your relaxing trip.
ReplyDeleteSarina Bowen is one of my favorites. I started with the Him/Us duology that she co-wrote with Elle Kennedy and I was hooked. Now I read everything by her and love it all. :) This is my first my Roni Loren and I'm really enjoying it.
DeleteAhhh, lazy days by the pool sounds heavenly. Looks like you've got some great new reads coming up. I hope you enjoy them all :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Suzanne. Vacation can’t come soon enough! :)
DeleteI'm thrilled you enjoyed LICK! I think PLAY is next with Mal, right? Loved him! I still really want to read The Ones Who Got Away! It looks like you're having a pretty great book week!
ReplyDeleteYep, Play is the next one up. I liked Mal in Lick (“Hey, child bride” LOL) so I’m looking forward to his story. The Ones Who Got Away is going great. A lot of themes touched on plus some serious sexual tension. :)
DeleteI'm totally enjoying the Roni Loren book. It's a romance but also so much more.
ReplyDeleteI'm in so much need for a lazy day for reading, too! Luckily classes finally end for me on the 28th and I absolutely CANNOT wait. T_T Happy reading, lovely! ♥
ReplyDeleteWow, you don’t have long to go at all! And once your break starts I bet so will all the reading! :)
DeleteI love this post idea!!! So awesome to see everything you're doing!! So fun!!! <3 Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteThanks Jessica! I’ve been doing Sunday Posts for about 2 years and it’s a fun way to catch up on the week. I always enjoy seeing everyone else’s Sunday Posts, too. :)
