Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This Week's Top Ten Tuesday Topic:
Geographic Book Titles
This week's prompt sounds so simple but ended up being a little trickier
than I anticipated. I had to do quite the deep dive on my Goodreads
"Read" shelf to come up with ten titles.
Lake Silence - Anne Bishop
The Sea of Tranquility - Katja Millay
Malibu Rising - Taylor Jenkins Reid
The Bookstore on the Beach - Brenda Novak
My Vegas Groom - Piper Rayne
Dune Road - Jane Green
True North - Amy Knupp
Virgin River - Robyn Carr
Arctic Wild - Annabeth Albert
Have you read any of these books?
Lake Silence is an attention-grabbing title for sure.

DeleteI think you did a great job with this! Loved Malibu Rising!
ReplyDeleteMalibu Rising was a great read!
DeleteI don't believe I have read any of these books. Great list!

Thanks Pam. :)
DeleteFrom your list, I've only read Malibu Rising.
ReplyDeleteHere's a link to my Top Ten Tuesday list!
Letrice - I really enjoyed Malibu Rising!
DeleteI was just typing all these random geographic terms into my Goodreads search bar but this was a fun post to do! I haven't read any of these but I do have Virgin River and Malibu Rising on my TBR 😃 Great list!
ReplyDeleteDini - I hope you enjoy Virgin River and Malibu Rising when you get to them! Malibu Rising, in particular, was excellent!
DeleteI didn't even think about using proper nouns like Malibu. You did a great job!
ReplyDeleteThanks Deb! :)
DeleteI also have The Bookstore on the Beach! Yea!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Elza Reads
Mareli - Great minds think alike! :)
DeleteWe both had The Sea of Tranquility. You chose some other good titles, too. I'm amazed at how different every post is today.
ReplyDeleteDeanna - Same here! Apparently there's a wealth of geographic titles to choose from!
DeleteI haven't read any of these books but I have heard of a few of them. I know Anne Bishop is super popular.
ReplyDeleteRenee - I've only read Bishop's Others series but it's one of my favorites.
DeleteGreat list of titles with geographical terms in them. Malibu Rising is on my TBR and I can't wait to read it.
ReplyDeleteHere is my TTT: https://herseriallife.com/top-10-books-with-geographical-terms-in-title/
Have a great week 😀
Rae - I hope you'll enjoy Malibu Rising if/when you get to it!
DeleteWhile a few are on my TBR, I haven't read any of them yet. I had to do a little deep diving for my titles, too.
ReplyDeleteAlison - This was a trickier prompt that I thought it would be!
DeleteGreat list! I haven't read any of these yet, but the Anne Bishop books and Malibu Rising are on my TBR :)
ReplyDeleteLindsey - I hope you'll love Malibu Rising when you get to it!
DeleteYou found some great titles for this one! Both Arctic Wild and Lake Silence look like books I would like. :)
ReplyDeleteLark - Lake Silence was really good! A spin-off of The Others series by Bishop.
DeleteGreat job! :D I almost used a couple of books with nature words in the title but I didn't know if they'd qualify. I guess it's not a hard-fast rule, lol. I need to take these prompts less seriously. Ha!
ReplyDeleteJenni - Eh, I figure they qualify if I say they qualify. LOL It's all in fun. :)
DeleteI should have thought of Malibu Rising!
ReplyDeleteSophie - Malibu Rising was such a good one!
DeleteI think I can make a list happen with city/state names. Hmmm. I cannot believe I have not read any of these. I saw True North, but it isn't the one I read (by Bowen)
ReplyDeleteSam - The True North that I was shared was just okay. But the True North series by Bowen is awesome! :)
DeleteOoh Lake Silence- I remember that cover being everywhere when it came out! Malibu rising is a nice one too...
ReplyDeleteGreg - Lake Silence has such a cool cover.
DeleteI couldn't find many in my Read shelf on Goodreads for this week's topic, so I went a bit rogue!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: https://jjbookblog.wordpress.com/2022/09/13/top-ten-tuesday-385/
Jo - I can understand going rogue this week... it proved to be a tough topic!
DeleteNice list. I'm wondering why I didn't include Malibu Rising as well!
ReplyDeleteWendy - I was reaching deep for titles from my read list so I latched right on to Malibu Rising when I saw it.
DeleteIt really was a surprisingly tricky topic. The only one I've read so far is the TJR but I have Virgin River on my TBR.
ReplyDeleteSuzanne - It was a tough topic for me, too! I only read the first Virgin River book and wasn't wowed by it, but the Netflix series is amazing.
DeleteI loved Virgin River, Lake Silence, and The Sea of Tranquility. This seems like a challenging but fun prompt!
ReplyDeleteRachel - It was a trickier topic than I thought it would be! I loved both Lake Silence and The Sea of Tranquility.
DeleteThank goodness for Goodreads! Once I figured out what a geographical term was (using the list Jana linked to), it was a cinch to find fitting titles using the search feature on GR. I was surprised by how drawn I seem to be to those kinds of titles. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Susan - Interesting that you seem to be drawn to those geographic titles!
DeleteA lot of these prompts seem easy until you actually have to do them lol good job!
ReplyDeleteKaren @For What It's Worth
Karen - You speak the truth! lol
DeleteI have a feeling that most of the topics would take me a long time to come up with a list. I have read the Anne Bishop books and Malibu Rising from this list.
ReplyDeleteCarole - Malibu Rising and The Others series were so, so good!
DeleteThe Bookstore on the Beach sounds intriguing! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteIt was my first by Novak and I really enjoyed it.
DeleteI had the same experience. I thought this prompt would be a breeze, but then it ended up taking me longer than I expected to come up with my books. But I did have fun with the challenge! Great choices. I've only read Malibu Rising... so far! :)
ReplyDeleteDedra - This was a tricky topic, wasn't it? Malibu Rising was one of my favorites last year.
DeleteNice job! I don't think I'd be able to come up with 10 for this prompt. hah
