Top Ten Tuesday: April Showers Edition

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This Week's Top Ten Tuesday Topic:
April Showers

Who knew this week's prompt would be so tricky? I quickly realized that I would not be
finding ten books that I've read with rain (or storm) in the title. Same for book covers.
I ended up combining books and covers and even then I only managed a total of eight.
I'm interested to see what everyone else came up with. :)

TITLES WITH RAIN (or storm)

All the Little Raindrops - Mia Sheridan
Storm and Fury - Jennifer L. Armentrout
The Rainmaker - John Grisham

COVERS WITH RAIN (or storm)

Marked in Flesh - Anne Bishop
The Nightingale - Kristin Hannah
One Small Thing - Erin Watt

Have you read any of these books?

    1. Deanna - I remember absolutely nothing about The Rainmaker but I did read it ages ago and I was desperate for titles that would work. :)

  6. I did a TTT similar to this one last year. Weather in the title or on the cover and I was surprised how many "rain" books I had! I should've done this one, but I didn't look it up this week. I was in Austin TX over a long weekend watching my grandkids! Little time to do anything with those hooligans (5yrs and 8yrs)! Love 'um, but wow, I'm glad my kids are grown, lol!

  7. I struggled with this topic too, so I switched it up a bit. I haven't read any of these yet, but I am catching up with the Others series. And I love the cover for All the Little Raindrops!

    1. Lindsey - I recently picked up the new short story collection from Anne Bishop and it had one story included about Simon and Meg and the Lakeside Courtyard. I loved visiting with them again!

  8. You were not the only one to struggle with this today, but bonus points to you because you have a few that I haven't seen on anyone else's list.

  9. Yay for the Maeve Binchy one! I hadn't heard of it until I started googling rain but it sounds really wonderful. This was a touch topic!

    1. Katherine - I agree, this prompt ended up being a tough one! It's been a decade or more since I read that Binchy book so I don't even remember much about it. But I always enjoyed her books.

  10. Good choice mixing covers/titles. This was hard to accomplish using my read-shelf.

  15. I've only read Bishop's series. It's so interesting how many books people come up with when there's a theme. You don't realize they exist untilt he question is asked lol
