WWW Wednesday #3 | April 11, 2018

WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
Just answer three questions and share what you're reading.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

I didn't do *any* reading over the weekend (ack!) since we had company staying with us, but on Monday I started Bittersweet. I *adore* Sarina Bowen and I'm already loving this one.

Yesterday morning I started listening to Lick. I've only read one book by Kylie Scott (the YA novel she released last year) and ever since I've been curious about her adult romances. My library's Overdrive app has her Stage Dive series available on audio so I decided to give it a try. I'm enjoying the humor and can't wait to learn more about the male lead.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
I finished Alex, Approximately last Friday and it was so totally cute. Porter was positively precious (say that sentence three times fast) and I loved main character Bailey. I'll definitely be reading more from Jenn Bennett!

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL READ NEXT?

I never know what I'm going to read one book to the next, but I'm considering either The Ones Who Got Away or maybe the next book in the True North series, Steadfast.

What are you currently reading?
I wanna know! :)

    1. I think what sold me on downloading Lick is that Andi Arndt is the narrator and she's my favorite female narrator ever. Makes the story totally come alive. :)

  6. Ah I like Kylie Scott's books. My favourite in the Stage Dive series is book 3, aka Jimmy's book. :)
My least fav was book 4, Ben's. That one let me down so bad I wanted to howl at the moon.
    Enjoy!

    2. Oh my gosh, Nicola, I'm laughing because at this point I've only met Jimmy once and he was *horrible*. LOL Thinking about him having his own book makes me cringe. Ha!

    1. I am seriously loving Bittersweet, Sam! Griffin is so dreamy! :) And I just love the dynamics between him and Audrey. I might need to read The Ones Who Got Away first, though, because I have an ARC of the second book that I need to get to.

  9. Yes! Lick! I listened to the entire Stage Dive series this year! It was sooo fun. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did! Play (Mal's book) was my FAVORITE. He's hilarious (child bride, lol).

All Jenn Bennett books are lovely and wonderful!

    1. Oh my gosh, Lindsi, I'm surprised at just how much I'm enjoying Lick! I'm finally seeing a different side of David and he is actually so sweet and considerate. *swoon* LOL But I'm dying to find out what happened the night they got married and why he won't open up to Ev about it all. I'll definitely be continuing the series. :)

    1. I really enjoyed Alex, Approximately. I agree that the hype around it was crazy - and it wasn’t the 5 star read I anticipated - but I still totally enjoyed it. And I love me some Sarina Bowen! I’ve loved everything I’ve read by her.
