Just answer three questions and share what you're reading.
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
Still reading The Impossibility of Us. Yes it's been about 8 days now but there's been a lot going on and I've barely been reading the last two weeks. I really am enjoying Elise's story, and Mati is so gentle and precious.
WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
The last thing I finished was The Boy & His Ribbon (June 21). Bad time to read something rather dark and angsty and I think it put me in a bit of a reading slump.
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL READ NEXT?
Not totally sure what I'll pick up next but some escapism sounds pretty good. So I might just set aside my contemporaries for something a little different. I'm considering a couple options: The Raging Ones (sci-fi), Deity (#3 in the Covenant series), or Brave (final book in the Wicked trilogy).
What are you currently reading?
I wanna know! :)
I wanna know! :)
I knew that a book by Jennifer would be in there :) I have just finished Watching You, Currently reading a book called Star Jumper.
ReplyDeleteNo list is complete without something by Jennifer L. Armentrout! :)
DeleteI am currently reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo! Happy reading this month friend!
ReplyDeleteI hope you’re enjoying Evelyn Hugo! I read it back in February and loved it! It will definitely be among my favorites of 2018.
DeleteI read The Raging Ones earlier this year and enjoyed it! So I vote you read that next :-P
ReplyDeleteWell thanks for the vote, Kristen! :) I love hearing that you enjoyed The Raging Ones... makes me even more excited to pick it up.
DeleteOoh your To Be Reads look pretty good! I think The Raging Ones and Brave both look very promising! :)
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great 4th!
I have high hopes for The Raging Ones! Sci-if isn’t usually my thing but the authors are some of my favorites.
DeleteI am reading A Merciful Truth (Mercy Kilpatrick, #2)by Kendra Elliot and listening to Part Time Lover by Lauren Blakely. The Raging Ones looks interesting as does the current book you are reading.
ReplyDeleteDespite my love of contemporary romance, I have yet to read anything by Lauren Blakely. I need to fix that soon!
DeleteCan't wait to see what you think of The Impossibility of Us when you finish! Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteMy review won't go up until the end of the month as part of the blog tour, but I loved it, Grace!
DeleteThe Impossibility of Us looks interesting!
ReplyDeleteI am reading When Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi and A Steep Price (Tracy Crosswhite #6)
by Robert Dugoni
The Impossibility of Us was so good, Lily!
DeleteA Steep Price sounds good. I haven't read a detective/mystery in a long time.
I can't wait to read Upperman's book. I think it will be on my TBR for next week. I hope it was good.
ReplyDeleteMy review won't post for several weeks (blog tour is at the end of the month) but I really loved it, Sam!
DeleteI've been hearing good things about The Impossibility of Us so I look forward to reading your review.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, The Impossibility of Us was so, so good. Loved it!
DeleteGlad you are enjoying The Impossibility of Us! The Raging Ones will be up soon for me too actually. I just finished The Other Side of Lost last night (very meh) and started Nine tonight. I don't even remember who Nine is by, sorry.
ReplyDeleteThe Impossibility of Us was excellent. Highly recommend.
DeleteI tried to look up Nine but GoodReads is being less than helpful. Their search engine leaves much to be desired. Ugh!
Sorry you're in a bit of a slump. I hope you find something fun and escapist to read next!!

I actually decided to start one that wasn't even on my list. LOL But it's the new K.A. Tucker and since I love books it seemed like a safe bet. :)
DeleteEeep I hope you enjoy The Raging Ones more than I did. I love KB's NA books so I'm so disappointed that I couldn't get into this one. :( I'm reading Starry Eyes now though and I'm loving the angst!!! ♥
ReplyDelete- Aimee @ Aimee, Always
I know! When I saw you DNF'd it I got worried. I sure hope I have better luck with it. I can't wait to read Starry Eyes! I just loved Alex, Approximately. :)
DeleteCan't wait to hear your opinion on The impossibility of us!! Hope you love it <3
ReplyDeleteLove it, Jessica! The blog tour isn’t until the end of the month so the review will be a while, but I really loved it.
DeleteI'm excited to see what you think of The Raging Ones! It's on my kindle and I'm hoping to start it soon :)
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed that we both love it!
DeleteI'm slowly reading The Raging Ones right now. It's interesting but I'm not sure if I'm in the mood for sci-fi.
ReplyDeleteI’m actually a bit nervous about it. Sci-if is so not my thing but I keep telling myself, “But it’s Krista and Becca!”
