WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
It Seemed Like a Good Idea at the Time - Kylie Scott
Well, actually "currently reading" isn't entirely accurate. It's what I plan to start reading. Tonight at home. Probably.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
I finished All Your Perfects two days ago. And I haven't picked up anything since. I think I'm emotionally damaged. Or emotionally drained. Or something dealing with emotions. At the very least mine are bruised. And I blame Colleen Hoover.
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL READ NEXT?
I still need to get back to Siege and Storm - and it'll happen, really - but I also just got the email that my Overdrive hold for Kristin Hannah's The Great Alone is *finally* available. I've been waiting for ages so I definitely need to make it a priority. I downloaded it this morning so the clock is already ticking. No pressure, or anything.
What are you currently reading?
I wanna know! :)
I wanna know! :)
I'm currently in between books! I just finished "Bannerless" by Carrie Vaughn and "The Splendor Before The Night" by Margaret George. I have no clue what I'm reading next. I'll think about that tomorrow lol
ReplyDeleteHow very Scarlett O'Hara of you. LOL
DeleteI love choosing a new book... so much possibility!
If you’ve read CoHo before you probably know what to expect. Get ready for all the feels!
ReplyDeleteOhhh I am super curious about The Great Alone! I hope it's good! And sorry that your emotions suffered abuse at the hands of Colleen Hoover 😂
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading Warcross. I like it, but I am not blown away? Next up will be some review book or another hah.
Meh, too bad you're not loving Warcross more.
DeleteAnd I love the utter vagueness about what's upcoming. LOL
Oh All Your Perfects was so good!!! I loved how it was told. I need to read The Great Alone too. Hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteYep, CoHo did it again. I should probably take a few more days to recover. LOL But I plan on diving into the new Kylie Scott in just a bit. :)
DeleteYou were CoHoed! Her books always leave me emotionally exhausted. The woman is good. I am so jelly you have the new Kylie Scott book. I am intrigued.
ReplyDeleteI was totally CoHoed. I'm still suffering. *sends ominous glare to CoHo*
DeleteI've started the Kylie Scott book and I can tell you that as of page 5 it's just wonderful. LOL
I've heard such great things about The Great Alone! Tonight I am going to start Before She Sleeps by Bina Shah; I just finished Every Body Has a Story by Beverly Gologorsky; and next, I will read YOu Have the Right to Remain Fat by Virgie Tovar! Happy reading :D
ReplyDeleteI’ve been hearing about Tovar’s latest release. Sounds like it will be an empowering read. Hope you enjoy it!
DeleteI just saw somebody else talking about All Your Perfects too and they were pretty happy with it. Glad it was good! I love all the comments about being CoHo'd. :) Seems she has that effect!
ReplyDeleteI think Sam has coined a new term. Being CoHoed! 😆
DeleteI love the look of the Siege and storm book! I am reading Last Witness by Chris Merritt, just finished Before I met him by John Nicholl. Very dark and gritty!
ReplyDeleteBefore I Met Him sounds pretty intense. The victim becoming the vigilante. Hope you’ll enjoy it!
DeleteI've heard really good things about The Great Alone, so I hope you enjoy it! And don't you hate getting e-books from the library and then feeling so much pressure?! LOL

Yes! Especially when I was on the wait list for so long. Now I feel positively obligated to read it immediately. LOL
DeleteCan't wait to see what you think of All Your Perfects. I want to read it so badly!
ReplyDeleteOh boy, that was a tough read, Jenea. Excellent, but very tough and emotional. I need something so happy right now!
DeleteScott's book looks good, and of course I need to get to Colleen's book. I haven't been in the mood for emotional wringers, but know the mood will come around :)
ReplyDeleteOh yeah, you *definitely* have to be emotionally prepared for a Colleen Hoover book!
DeleteI really can't wait to see what you think of The Great Alone. I couldn't put it down.
ReplyDeleteI am so ready for that one. Kristin Hannah is a go-to author and never disappoints.
DeleteI can't wait to hear your thoughts on Seige and Storm! I'm reading Leah and the Offbeat and These Rebel Waves.
ReplyDeleteI'm so bummed that I had to set S&S aside for now. But first there was the new CoHo book and now a couple review books that are due... gah!
