Top Ten Tuesday: Winter TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week's Top Ten Tuesday topic:
My Winter TBR

First of all, let's all have a good laugh at me making a TBR. And then have another chuckle at the mere thought of me actually sticking to it.

Now that's out of the way we can move on. We all know I don't do TBR's. I am 100% a mood reader and I never know what I'm going to feel like reading from one day to the next. So TBR's are pointless but I love any excuse to make a list so here we go.

Have you read any of these books?
What's on your winter TBR?

  1. I try to make a list of book in the order I need to read them in. I rarely follow it though. I think I just like to make lists. Regretting You and Echoes Between Us were really good. The Honey Don't List is one that I'm excited for. Enjoy!!

  6. I actually pre-ordered Wild at Heart (who am I?), so I will definitely be reading that. I have an ARC of McGarry's book and Honey-Don't. So, I will be reading those as well. I hope to read Heartland and Regretting You, though I don't have copies. Same for Lydia Bird. I was so sad, when I was rejected for it, but I think it will be amazing.

    1. Wow, I hardly ever hear you mention pre-ordering. Go you! :) I have an arc of Echoes Between Us that I'll read sometime in January. I requested The Honey-Don't List but it's still pending so that's probably a no. LOL I got denied for Lydia Bird, too. Boo hoo!

    1. I received Regretting You for Christmas so I know I'll be starting it very soon. I always get positively giddy over a new book from Colleen Hoover. :)

  9. I'm a mood reader and setting TBR's doesn't always work for me either. Still I do need to get to that Holly Black series.

  10. Excellent choices!! I haven't come up with my winter TBR just yet but The Bride Test by Helen Hoang is one I know for sure I want to read. I still need to get started on The Folk of the Air series. I've been seeing it all over my feed lately! Happy reading~

    1. Thanks Jae! I hope you'll love The Bride Test. I was nervous about it because I loved The Kiss Quotient so much, but Hoang didn't disappoint. Khai and Esme were so precious. :)

  11. Oooh, I like this list! I still need to read The Cruel Prince, so it will be a while before I get to the Queen of Nothing, but the Hoover and Lauren books are definitely on my TBR. I've been eyeing a few of the others as well.

    1. I'm not a fantasy reader but The Cruel Prince really called to me. I'm so glad I gave it a try because I was hooked! I'm so excited to see how it all ends.

  12. Wild at Heart!!! I'm so curious but also a little scared to read this book. I really hope Calla and Jonah keep their HEA?! I'll be so devo if they don't! Haha I want to read so many of the books you have on this list. I hope you enjoy them all whenever you get to them 😍

  13. So I read the last 4 on your first bar of covers. So. good. You're in for a great run of reads there. I am also excited for Yarros, CL, Bowen, & Tucker to release those books! I have a feeling 2020 is going to be a great reading year!

    1. I just downloaded the Yarros book from Edelweiss yesterday. No request needed... just an instant download. Gotta love that!

  14. I'm a mood reader also so I don't generally make TBRs or follow them, but I do want to read Echoes Between Us - Katie McGarry

  15. You're quite good at list making. LOL I bounce around and have eclectic taste but pretend the next 3 months of arcs and my own bookshelves are all I can pick from. Hoover's book is one I think you will love.

  16. I loved Regretting You! I hope you do too, Tanya. I'm interested to hear your reactions for Wild at Heart. I didn't think we needed a sequel and I'm so afraid it'll ruin my love for the first book so I'm not sure I'll pick it up.

  17. Oh I have sooo many books in this list I wanna read. But like you, I'm a mood reader too. I can hardly stay faithful to my TBR. There's just so many new (either newly released or newly discovered) books out there and they're both tempting and distracting!

    1. It's hard not to get distracted by all the shiny new releases... even when I really want to read the books already on my shelves.

    1. I didn't pre-order The Queen of Nothing and instead decide to ask Santa for it. :) Hopefully that means I'll be reading it this time next week. :)

  21. I'm the same as you....I am such a huge mood reader. Yet I try my hardest to make tbrs lol. It's the thought that counts right? HA! I'm planning on reading Echoes Between Us over Christmas break *fingers crossed*.

  22. I laugh with you at the thought of making a reading list and sticking to it! Not my forte...
However, The Queen of Nothing is one I'd like to read soon as is Great and Precious Things (although I still haven't recovered from Yarros' Last Letter so that one may take a while!)
