It's fall, y'all! 😍
It finally decided to make an appearance here in Florida.
It was almost 80 degrees here yesterday and then overnight the the temps plummeted by about 40 degrees. I was joyously breaking out the fall/winter wardrobe this morning. :)

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
I put this on hold at the library months ago and promptly forgot about it. So I was a little surpirsed when I got the email that it was ready for pick-up. :) I wasn't even sure I was still interested but decided to give it a go. I'm only 40-ish pages in and enjoyng it so far.
WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
I flew through Lora Richardson's new release and loved every minue of it. Reverie was such a tough cookie on the outside but so skittish from a childhood that had way too much instability. My heart hurt for this girl who was determined to keep everyone at arms length. Eddie was an absolute sweetheart and I loved his determination. This guy just wasn't going to give up on Reverie.♥ Another winner from Richardson!
WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL READ NEXT?
Not positive but I think I'm going to pick up Blitzed next. It'll be fun to dive back into the Playbook world. Fingers crossed that my favorite characters from the previous two books make an appearance!
What are you currently reading?
I wanna know! :)
I wanna know! :)
I love when characters from previous books make appearances in companion novels!! Glad you've been reading some good books lately.

Same here, Lauren! It's always fun to see familiar faces (well, characters).
DeleteEnjoy Repeat! I just finished Call Down the hawk ;-)
ReplyDeleteConsidering how slowly I've been reading lately, I'm surprised at how quickly I'm getting through Repeat. I'm enjoying it!
DeleteI have not heard of Trusting Winter - Lora Richardson but now I'm curious :D it looks great
ReplyDeleteLora writes such wonderful YA contemporaries!
DeleteHope you enjoy Repeat as you get into it!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ali, I'm halfway through now and really enjoying it!
DeleteI just finished Blitzed this morning. I liked it, but I think I was really all about the female friendship. The Lady Mustangs are really front and center in this one, and I was all about it. The ending felt like a finale. I am not sure if there will be more books, but I am a fan of the series.
ReplyDeleteHm, sounds like it focuses more on the friendships than the relationships? Interesting.
DeleteI have had the occasional surprise from the library too. I have only read one Kylie Scott book but I really enjoyed it. I will be looking forward to your thoughts.
ReplyDeleteI read Kylie's Stage Dive series (on audio) and enjoyed them a lot. And I've read two others not in that series. I'm really enjoying Repeat!
DeleteI've read and enjoyed a few Kylie Scott books, and hope to check out Repeat eventually. I love the cover for Trusting Winter. I haven't read anything by Lora Richardson. It looks like there's a new to me author I need to check out :)
ReplyDeleteLindy@ A Bookish Escape
Isn't that cover gorgeous? I really love Lora's YA contemporaries.
DeleteI love breaking out the Fall wardrobe! I'll be heading up north tomorrow and it's sweater weather and I couldn't be happier.
ReplyDeleteI loved Repeat! But I did listen to it on audio and sometimes that can make the book better than just reading it. I hope you love it too!
You and me both, Rachel! I looove being able to wear all my fall/winter clothes and boots and scarves. They don't get a lot of use. :)
DeleteSo good to hear you loved Repeat! I'm about halfway through and I'm pulling for Clem and Ed so hard!
I think we skipped fall and ran straight into winter over here. But I'm really not complaining. I got to wear my favorite boots today. LOL.
ReplyDeleteMy fall/winter wardrobe is one of my favorite things about cooler weather. :)
DeleteTrusting Winter sounds like a very fun read. I haven't read any books by that author before.
ReplyDeleteI'm currently reading 'Seduced by the Soldier' by Melia Alexander. I'm participating in #HoHoHoRAT so I hoping to read this one quickly before getting back to another Christmas read.
I'm not familiar with Melia Alexander. I'll have to look her up. Have fun with the readathon! :)
DeleteTrusting Winter's cover is so so pretty!! <3
ReplyDeleteI remember hearing about Repeat and putting it on my tbr, but lately I've been considering taking it off!
I'm really enjoying Repeat! If you're still interested at all, I'd recommend it. :)
DeleteRepeat!! I really enjoyed that one. The suspense was SUSPENSEFUL, haha. ;) I also liked that he was a talented tattoo artist. Oh, and the dog! Adorable. Hope you keep liking it!
ReplyDeleteLindsi @ Do You Dog-ear? 💬
I guessed who was behind the attacks but before that I was suspecting like three different people! LOL
DeleteI'm in love with that cover for Trusting Winter. It sounds like a great read too. :)
ReplyDeleteTrusting Winter was such a sweet and wonderful YA contemporary. And the cover is stunning!
DeleteI hope Blitzed is a winner!
ReplyDelete(Amber Elise @ Du Livre)
I'm only about 20% in but so far so good! :)
DeleteSometimes a library hold can arrive at the perfect time, I hope you enjoy Repeat, I've liked a few Kylie Scott books. And Alexa Martin! I need to continue on with that series.
ReplyDeleteRepeat was a good one... nothing unforgettable but a good read. And I loved Intercepted and Fumbled! I have high hopes for Blitzed.
DeleteI'm curious about Blitzed. I do love a good sports romance. :)
ReplyDeleteRepeat, I mentioned in another comment, but I'd forgotten about it too. I still want to read it though.
I really loved the first two books - Intercepted and Fumbled. They were great! I have high hopes for Blitzed.
