WWW Wednesday #68 | November 13, 2019

WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
Just answer three questions and share what you're reading.

It's fall, y'all! 😍
It finally decided to make an appearance here in Florida.
It was almost 80 degrees here yesterday and then overnight the the temps plummeted by about 40 degrees. I was joyously breaking out the fall/winter wardrobe this morning. :)

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
I put this on hold at the library months ago and promptly forgot about it. So I was a little surpirsed when I got the email that it was ready for pick-up. :) I wasn't even sure I was still interested but decided to give it a go. I'm only 40-ish pages in and enjoyng it so far.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
I flew through Lora Richardson's new release and loved every minue of it. Reverie was such a tough cookie on the outside but so skittish from a childhood that had way too much instability. My heart hurt for this girl who was determined to keep everyone at arms length. Eddie was an absolute sweetheart and I loved his determination. This guy just wasn't going to give up on Reverie. Another winner from Richardson!

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL READ NEXT?

Not positive but I think I'm going to pick up Blitzed next. It'll be fun to dive back into the Playbook world. Fingers crossed that my favorite characters from the previous two books make an appearance!

What are you currently reading?
I wanna know! :)

  5. I just finished Blitzed this morning. I liked it, but I think I was really all about the female friendship. The Lady Mustangs are really front and center in this one, and I was all about it. The ending felt like a finale. I am not sure if there will be more books, but I am a fan of the series.

    1. Hm, sounds like it focuses more on the friendships than the relationships? Interesting.

  7. I've read and enjoyed a few Kylie Scott books, and hope to check out Repeat eventually. I love the cover for Trusting Winter. I haven't read anything by Lora Richardson. It looks like there's a new to me author I need to check out :)

  8. I love breaking out the Fall wardrobe! I'll be heading up north tomorrow and it's sweater weather and I couldn't be happier.

I loved Repeat! But I did listen to it on audio and sometimes that can make the book better than just reading it. I hope you love it too!

    1. You and me both, Rachel! I looove being able to wear all my fall/winter clothes and boots and scarves. They don't get a lot of use. :)

So good to hear you loved Repeat! I'm about halfway through and I'm pulling for Clem and Ed so hard!

  10. Trusting Winter sounds like a very fun read. I haven't read any books by that author before.
I'm currently reading 'Seduced by the Soldier' by Melia Alexander. I'm participating in #HoHoHoRAT so I hoping to read this one quickly before getting back to another Christmas read.
