Top Ten Tuesday: My Spring 2020 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.

This week's Top Ten Tuesday topic:
Spring 2020 TBR

If you've been around here any length of time you know me making a TBR is an exercise in futility. I don't make TBR's. I don't plan what I read. And even if I did I wouldn't stick to it. I'm a total mood reader and never know what I'm going to feel like picking up next.

But, that being said, I've also never met a list I didn't like. So, just because it's fun to peruse my GoodReads lists and imagine reading all the books, here's my Spring TBR. Disclaimer: This list has absolutely no bearing and should be taken with many grains of salt. ;-)

Are any of these books on your TBR?

  1. All of these books have such cheerful covers. Enjoy them, and thanks for stopping by my post!

  2. I really enjoyed WHERE THE LOST WANDER. It's got a little bit of everything - action/adventure, romance, humor, heartbreak, etc. I hadn't heard of the COPPERSMITH FARMHOUSE before. Sounds like one I'd like. I'm going to add it to my Goodreads TBR list right now!

    Happy TTT!

  3. I just started reading The Simple Wild, so I'll definitely be looking forward to the rest of the series. And I'm excited to read Anticipating Spring!! I love making TBRs, but I by no means feel that I HAVE to stick to them. I just love making lists and checking things off. LOL!

Same here with the lists, Alison. I make the TBRs just to make a list... I never stick with it. LOL

  4. Wild at Heart is one I need to read this spring, too. I've been waiting for my library to get it, but if they don't soon I'm going to have to read it anyways.

  8. I will definitely be reading You Say It First, because I have an ARC. I also have a copy of Wild at Heart, which I pre-ordered. I need to squeeze that one in as soon as I get through my May/June review books. I want to read the new Josie Silver book. So, true story: I put a pre-release hold on the book via my eLibrary, and when it came out, all they had was epub. BOO! I returned it, and I SWEAR, just a few days after that, mobi available. Now, there is like a 12 week wait. Whatever! I was mad.

    1. I really want to get to Wild at Heart this month. I feel so ready to revisit with Calla and Jonah. Ugh, so lame the library only got the epub of Lydia Bird. And naturally mobi shows up and the line is months long. Gah! At least there are plenty of books to keep you entertained while you wait. :)

  15. "I don't plan what I read. And even if I did I wouldn't stick to it." - ME. My mood also affects what I read and sometimes even when I'm ready and excited for the book, if real life events get in the way, I either lose interest or put it on-hold until I feel like not picking it up at all anymore. Staying faithful to a TBR is a challenge. I hope you get to read all these though!

    1. Ditto, Chai! I am 100% a mood reader so I never know what I'm going to feel like reading from one book to the next.

  16. I'm a total mood reader too Tanya, which makes it so challenging to try to follow an ARC schedule. I loved All I Ask, and think you will enjoy it too. I have The Two Lives of Lydia Bird on my TBR also, and have heard wonderful things about it :)

    1. I keep seeing such mixed reviews for In Five Years so that has me kind of nervous. But I'm super excited for the others! Especially trying my first from Meghan Quinn. :)

  18. I don't really make TBRs very much either, but I actually did one this week that I think I'll stick to since it's books for a challenge I'm working on. :)

I like the look of a fair few books on your list. The Richardson book in particular.
