WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
Just answer three questions and share what you're reading.

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

Jennifer Armentrout is one of my favorite authors so it drives me crazy that I still haven't read the Covenant series.  I read the first book (Half-Blood) a couple years ago but never continued the series. Then in March I decided to pick it up again and started by re-reading Half-Blood. Aaaand, I still didn't continue past the first book. I swear, I'm beginning to think I have some kind of mental block with this series. LOL So here I go again, finally starting Pure, the second book. Hopefully it's a winner and I can (one day) get this series off my TBR. :)

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
I finished The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things on Monday and it was so, so good. I loved main characters Sage and Shane and it had a great cast of secondary characters (always a plus). I can be a sucker for a Tragic Past and these two both had that in spades. But Sage worked hard not to be defined by her past and I admired her for that. This was sweet and funny and also heartbreaking and emotional... a great YA contemporary.

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL READ NEXT?

What's next is a little up in the air but it will likely be either One Small Thing or The Fragile Ordinary (love that cover!).

What are you currently reading?
I wanna know! :)

    1. All the covers for the Covenant series are so pretty. They actually recently re-released them with new covers and I think they're even prettier. :)

    1. I hope so, too, Jessica! I've actually never read the Paper Princess series so this one will be my first by Erin Watt.

    1. The Queen of Bright and Shiny Things is sooo worth reading, Sam! Brought me to tears. (There's an element of grief with one character so you'll be happy. LOL) I'm excited about the Erin Watt book!

  6. Funny the same happened to me with The Lunar Chronicles! I almost hate Cinder the first time I read it and then... BAM! from hate to total adoration! So happy to hear you are enjoying this one Tanya! I'll have to check it out!

  7. I'm happy you liked TQoBaST! I beta read that one and thought it was so cute and didn't get enough attention.

I haven't read a Armentrout book in too long!

    1. Yeah, it definitely didn't seem to get much attention when it came out. And now I can see that it totally deserved more.

  9. I read Half-Blood years ago, but never finished the series! It's something I keep meaning to do... at this point I'll have to re-read the first book before continuing. Maybe we all have a mental block when it comes to that series? It's not for a lack of enjoyment--I loved the first book!

I'm currently reading Legendary and The Last Summer of the Garrett Girls. I'm also listening to Royally Screwed (*fans self*).

    1. I've realized that my problem with both Half-Blood and Pure is that I don't really like the main character. She's impulsive, she's makes bad decisions that put herself and others in danger, and she keeps doing it again and again! The saving grace is that I do like the story and I love the character Seth - who, eventually gets his own spin-off series, so I'm persevering for that. :)

OMG, I LOVED the audio version of Royally Screwed! LOVED IT!!!! :)

    1. I am *loving* One Small Thing, Amber! I am flying through it - which is totally unlike me. I'm not a particularly fast reader but it's like I can't put this one down.
