Book Outlet Book Haul

Contrary to what The Husband might think (*cough*), I don't buy that many books. No, really, I don't. Quit laughing! :) I one-click a Kindle book now and then, and I'm even kind of cheap when I do that. (I'll rarely go over $2.99 for a Kindle... I have my limits.) And I'll buy physical copies when it comes to my small handful of favorite authors - or when I'm dying to read a new release that I'm sure I'll love (I'm looking at you, Red, White & Royal Blue). So book hauls aren't really a thing for me.

But a couple weeks ago I was casually perusing Book Outlet - something I hadn't done in probably a year - and what do you know? All the things! I want that book! And that one! And there's another one!

And, before you could say #NoRegrets, I had 18 books in my cart. So that happened.

And because we all enjoy enabling each other sharing (sorrynotsorry), here are all my new pretties. For those interested, I'll include the Book Outlet price (at the time I ordered) in case you're tempted to nab one (or 18) for yourself. (nudge-nudge)

More Than We Can Tell - Brigid Kemmerer ($5.99)
Rev is one of my favorite fictional characters ever. I love adding the hardcover version of his story to my shelf.

9 Days & 9 Nights - Katie Cotugno ($4.89)
After loving Cotugno's 99 Days, I cannot believe I haven't read this yet. So coming across this one was a real score.

Emmy & Oliver - Robin Benway ($5.99)
Until Far From the Tree came out, this was my favorite by Benway. I adore these two main characters.

After the Game and Losing the Field - Abbi Glines ($6.49 each)
I read After the Game but only had the uncorrected e-arc and I haven't read Losing the Field yet, so I was excited to grab both of these.

The Impossibility of Us and Kissing Max Holden - Katy Upperman ($4.89 and $3.89)
I read both of these as e-arcs and love having physical copies for my shelf. Katy is a fantastic new voice in contemporary YA.

The Way I Used to Be - Amber Smith ($3.89)
I initially listened to this on audio several years ago and it was unforgettable. I'd like to do a re-read with a physical copy.

Riot - Tillie Cole ($4.89)
My first experience with Tillie Cole was an epic fail but I'm willing to give her another try. (Especially at this price.)

Riveted and Salvaged - Jay Crownover ($4.89 each)
Having just recently listened to both of these on audio (and loving them) I jumped at the chance to nab copies at such a great price.

Sin & Suffer - Pepper Winters ($4.39)
I'm still fairly new to Pepper Winters, but I know I want to read more from her.

Most of All You - Mia Sheridan ($4.39)
I adore Mia Sheridan and this one was already on my TBR.

I Found You - Lisa Jewell ($7.59)
Ditto with Lisa Jewell. I've been dying to read this one.

Ride Hard, Ride Rough and Ride Wild - Laura Kaye ($2.79 each)
I just recently read my first by Laura Kaye. Grabbing the first three books in a series for less than $3 a book? Can't pass that up.

The Break - Marian Keyes ($3.29)
It's been a long time since I read anything from Marian Keyes but I've always enjoyed her storytelling.

So there you have it... my epic Book Outlet book haul. Because I so obviously needed more to read. (*looks away quickly*)

Have you read any of these books?
Do you ever order from Book Outlet?

July Book Haul

Um yeah, so this happened. :) Between the Book Outlet sale/coupon (they totally twisted my arm!), my monthly Bookworm Box, a stop at a Walmart that actually had an impressive book section, a visit to Barnes & Noble, a pre-order... what's a girl to do?

Kaleidoscope Hearts by Claire Contreras - I read this on my Kindle in June and really enjoyed it so I was pleasantly surprised when I received a physical copy in my Bookworm Box!

Siege & Storm by Leigh Bardugo - I have it in hardcover but Book Outlet had the paperback for a ridiculous price. Since I prefer reading in paperback I couldn't pass it up.

Hold On Tight by Abbi Glines - I adore the Rosemary Beach series and have been nabbing the Sea Breeze books as they are released in paperback. I'll be marathoning the whole series soon. Can't wait!

After the Rain by Renee Carlino - I've heard such great things about Renee Carlino's books. I'll be reading/reviewing Before We Were Strangers later this month and I'm looking forward to that one as well.

Since You've Been Gone by Morgan Matson - I finally caved. I have so many book friends that positively gush over the genius of Morgan Matson so it's time to experience it for myself.

The Way Home by Cindy Gerard - This one has actually been on my TBR for almost two years, ever since I read a review of it in RT Book Reviews. Book Outlet had a copy and I was so surprised to see it that I grabbed it.

Slow Burn by K. Bromberg - I'm not a fan of mass market paperbacks and I picked this one up on a whim. I believe this one is part of a companion series but does not need to be read in order.

Ride Steady by Kristen Ashley - Another mass market paperback that I picked up because I was in a book-buying mood and the Walmart I was at had a huge selection. It's the third in a series so I'll have to check if they need to be read in order.

Every Last Breath by Jennifer L. Armentrout - My one pre-order this month. The final book in the Dark Elements trilogy! Gotta see how this one ends - will it be Roth or will it be Zayne? #TeamRoth

Then and Always by Dani Atkins - I reviewed an ARC of Dani's other book, The Story of Us, a couple months ago and loved it. I was excited to find this one available at Book Outlet.

A Stone in the Sea by A.L. Jackson - This was the second book that came in my July Bookworm Box. It sounds like a great new adult read... and it's blurbed by Mia Sheridan so I'm kinda sold right there.

Of Triton by Anna Banks - The second book in The Syrena Legacy trilogy. My BookTube friend Kassidy raves about this series.

Poison Princess and Endless Knight by Kresley Cole - The first two books in the Arcana Chronicles. Another recommendation from Kassidy. #KassidyMadeMeBuyIt

Becoming Rain by K.A. Tucker - I'm one book shy of completing Tucker's Ten Tiny Breaths series and then it's on to the Burying Water series. Becoming Rain is the second in that series. She is an amazing storyteller!

Have you read any of these? What did you add to your shelves in July? Tell me about it below... comments make me happy!

Book Haul: 02

Sometimes it's just impossible to ignore those emails from Book Outlet. Maybe one book catches your eye so you go to the website and start browsing. And it seems silly to place an order for just a book or two. I mean, you need to order enough to justify the shipping charges, right? And before you know it your cart has almost a dozen books in it but it's okay because... look at those prices, right? A $15 trade paperback for $3.99? Yes please and thank you!

This is my first haul in ages that doesn't have a single YA book. I've been reading lots of new adult lately so that's what I gravitated to. Also, everything here is a contemporary. No dystopian, no fantasy, no paranormal... just lots of contemporary new adult romance.

Misunderstandings by Tiffany King - I'm looking forward to starting the Woodfalls Girls series. I already have No Attachments so finding the second book at Book Outlet was a real coup. On a side note, I met Tiffany about a year ago at a signing for Tracey Garvis Graves and she was so,so sweet.

Nowhere But Here by Renee Carlino - I have read so many phenomenal reviews of her books. Sweet Things and this one, in particular.

Clipped Wings and Inked Armour by Helena Hunting - This series was on my radar but I was going to pass on it, unsure if it was for me. Then I saw some reviews by trusted sources and I was sold.

A Song for Us by Teresa Mummert - I have yet to start the series but I own the first two books and when I saw the third for only $2.99... sold!

Before Jamaica Lane and Fall From India Place by Samantha Young - So am I the only one who has not yet read Samantha Young? I feel like I'm late to the party but I hear great things.

Collide and Pulse by Gail McHugh - Very excited to start this series! It has crazy high ratings on GoodReads.

Sempre: Redemption by J.M. Darhower - Like with A Song for Us, I purchased this second book in a series I haven't started yet because it was such a great price. I've heard that Sempre and Sempre: Redemption are pretty dark and gritty so I'm intrigued.

So have you read any of these? If so, let me know how you liked them! What have you hauled lately? And are there any other Book Outlet junkies... I can't be the only one. ;) Tell me about it in the comments below!
