Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This Week's Top Ten Tuesday Topic:
10 Most Recent Additions To My TBR
This week's prompt is actually the books I recommend most to others, but I don't really make recommendations that often. I mean, if I review a book and enjoyed it, I guess it goes without saying that I would recommend it. But specifically recommending books to others? Very rare. So instead, I'm sharing the most recent additions to my TBR.
1. Ravensong - T.J. Klune
2. Bad Mother - Mia Sheridan
3. None of This Is True - Lisa Jewell
4. Forbidden Hearts - Corinne Michaels
5. Coach - Devney Perry
6. Here With Me - Brooke Montgomery
7. The Breakaway - Jennifer Weiner
8. Strange Sally Diamond - Liz Nugent
9. Into the Tide - Laura Pavlov
10. Meet Me at the Lake - Carley Fortune
Have you read any of these books?
Are any of these of your TBR?
These all look great! I just finished Into The Tide a few days ago and it's amazing! I can't wait to read your thoughts ;)
ReplyDeleteMaureen - I'm excited for Into the Tide! It will be my first by Pavlov.
DeleteI went last night to hear Abraham Verghese speak about his new book, and I'm kicking myself that I didn't wait in line to buy a book. He was interviewed by the author of The People's Hospital, and now I want to read that one, too.
ReplyDeleteI will be curious to see what you think of these, especially the new Lisa Jewell.
Deb - How great to go to that author event! Maybe the store/venue still has some copies?
DeleteRavensong sounds so good.

DeleteMeet Me at the Lake has been everywhere recently! I might have to check that one out...
ReplyDeleteAngela - The synopsis grabbed me and the reviews I've seen have been very good.

ReplyDeleteWe are quite a pair of book bloggers as we don't tend to recommend books. LOL! I loved both Fortune's books, so I hope you enjoy Meet Me at the Lake if you end up reading it.
Sam - Pretty ironic, isn't it? LOL
DeleteI think you will love Into the Tide and Coach. I like to recommend books, but I have to know what people like before I recommend.
ReplyDeleteDeanna - I plan on reading Into the Tide this month. I have high hopes for it!
DeleteI am falling behind with TJ Klune! I need to catch up! I hope you will get to read all of these soon.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting us earlier!
Elza Reads

ReplyDeleteStefani - I have high hopes for that one! :)
DeleteI'm especially looking forward to Bad Mother, but several of these are on my TBR, too.
ReplyDeleteAlison - I'm so excited for Bad Mother. Seems like a bit of a new direction for Mia Sheridan and I'm here for it.
DeleteI really like the covers of both Ravensong and Meet Me at the Lake! :D
ReplyDeleteLark - I think the cover was the first thing that drew me to Meet Me at the Lake. :)
DeleteI've read/listened to Jennifer Weiner's books before and loved them, so The Breakaway is going to be on my TBR list.
ReplyDeleteThank you for posting
Rebecca - Hopefully we will both love The Breakaway!
DeleteMEET ME AT THE LAKE has gotten so much positive buzz. I really need to read it and see what all the fuss is about! I hope we both enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Susan - Same here. All the positive/glowing reviews have me convinced that I need to read it.
DeleteI'm interested in reading that TJ Klune series.
ReplyDeleteJennifer - That Klune series has been on my TBR for *years*. I finally read Wolfsong last month and LOVED it. My first 5-star read of the year. I'm so excited to get to the rest of the series!
Deleteooh I hope you love that Laura Pavlov. She is an author I really want to try, her covers are so gorgeous. Hope you love up reading all of these. I can't wait to see what you think of that Klune. I have been meaning to continue that series.
ReplyDeleteRenee - I've been meaning to try Pavlov all year and I still hope to squeeze this one in this month. With the Klune book... I loved Wolfsong so much! Now I can't wait to move on to Ravensong.

Thanks Jo! :)
DeleteGosh Tanya! You went rogue??? LOL I also ordered Ravensong!
ReplyDeleteSophie - My husband read Ravensong a week or so ago and it's driving me crazy that he's now ahead of me in the series. lol
DeleteI have Meet Me at the Lake on my TBR, I hope that we both enjoy it when we get the opportunity to read it. Thanks for stopping by my blog earlier.
ReplyDeletePam @ Read! Bake! Create!
Pam - Fingers crossed that we will both love Meet Me at the Lake!
DeleteSo far I've only read Meet Me at the Lake, but I have the new Lisa Jewell and Jennifer Weiner books on my TBR. So excited for both of those!
ReplyDeleteSuzanne - Lisa Jewell and Jennifer Weiner both kind of fall outside my norm, but even so I always inhale their new releases. Both such good story tellers.
DeleteThe Lisa Jewell is on my TBR but the rest of these are new to me. I love the look of Meet Me at the Lake.
ReplyDeleteKatherine - I get so excited for every Lisa Jewell release. I just love her brand of thrillers.
DeleteLoved Meet Me at the Lake! Hope you do too!
ReplyDeleteRachel - I have such high hopes for it! Which reminds me that I need to check on my library hold. :)
DeleteI've only read one book by Jennifer Weiner but I do want to check out more.
ReplyDeleteLauren @ www.shootingstarsmag.net
Lauren - Weiner has been such a go-to for me over the years. I love her story telling.
DeleteRavensong! Loved that one a lot. And I'm also so excited for Meet Me At The Lake :) Hope you'll enjoy all of these!
ReplyDeleteLindsey - I am so excited to move on to Ravensong. My husband just finished it and it's driving my crazy that he's now ahead of me in the series. LOL
DeleteI'd have switched this topic up too. Recommending a book for a specific person - especially if I don't *know* them - induces panic! Recommending a book to a blogger friend is a bit easier as I've got a feeling for the type of books they like (from months/years of seeing what they read/like) but it triggers a different kind of anxiety! lol.
