The Sunday Post #31

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's a chance to share news - a post to recap the past week on your blog,
showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is
coming up on your blog in the week ahead. You can find the info here:

Pardon me if I sound a tad giddy but northeast Florida is finally getting a little taste of autumn. This weekend has been positively glorious with temps in the 70's. Loving it! What's it like where you live?

Today is the anniversary of my first date with my husband. Twenty-five years ago today I met Robert at a Bennigan's for drinks... little did I know I was sitting next to the love of my life! Every single day since has been a blessing and a joy. My very own real-life book boyfriend.

Thursday, October 20: On Thursday I took part in the cover reveal for Renee Carlino's upcoming release, Lucian Divine. It's already one of my most anticipated titles for 2017 and I can't wait for January to get my hands on it!

Friday, October 21: My fourth Freebie Friday offering was shared this week. I've been thrilled that there's been such a good response to these giveaways. I love sharing books with those that truly want them! There's still time to enter this week if you haven't already.
**Hint: There will be more than one winner this week! :)

  1. Its finally cooling off here. The beginning of the week started in the 80's, but then by Saturday we were in the 60s. Ohio is crazy like that!
Awesome books! I am totally intrigued by the looks of November 9 and The Best Goodbye!

I'm super excited for those illustrated editions! I've read and loved both books but now getting to flip thru and see all the extra stuff is so much fun. :)

    1. Thanks Deborah! Definitely still happy... guess I got very lucky when I found "The One" at a relatively young age (I was 23 when we started dating).

    1. I'm so excited for that one, Emily! I've been avoiding reviews of it so I can just read it without any preconceived notions.

And thank you... it boggles my mind that it's been 25 years. We've only been married for 17 (we dated for a looong time) but it's so weird to think we've been together since I was in my early 20's. I just knew he was the one! :)

    1. Yep, I got a keeper! :)
Crave actually released three of those illustrated editions recently. The two I bought by Colleen Hoover and Abbi Glines plus He Will Be My Ruin by K.A. Tucker. I enjoyed it but I received ar ARC and didn't feel the need to own a hard copy of it.

  8. Well, we've been unseasonable warm here but it's still in the 50's and 60's so it's been nice. :) I'm glad you're enjoying some fall weather though.
Nice book haul! I love KA Linde's Record series. Sooo good!! And I love the totally random. :D
Happy "anniversary" to you and Robert. That's so cool! Real life book boyfriends rock!

    1. Yeah, I'll take whatever fall weather I can get... even if it's just the Florida version of fall weather. LOL
I was excited to receive that K.A. Linde book in my Bookworm Box because I've heard such great things about the series!
And, yes, real life book boyfriends are the best. ♥

I *loved* The Deal! OMG, Garret was so awesome. Swoon!
I feel like if someone is going to read Furiously Happy then the audio version is the way to go. Hearing Jenny read her own stories is priceless!
