10 Books Buried in My Kindle That I want to Read
It happens time and time again: There's a new release from a favorite author. A trusted friend recommends a must-read book. I come across a book with a synopsis that speaks to me. And you know what happens next...
Unfortunately, those additions occur faster than I can actually read them. And considering that I got my first Kindle in 2011, well... that's a lot of books. Occasionally I scroll through my Kindle library and some of those covers catch my eye and I'm reminded of how excited I was to read them. So here are some of those buried treasures that I still very much want to read.
One of Amy's earlier releases that I haven't got to yet.
I've read only one book by Cole and hated it. Despite that, I'm still intrigued by this series.
I love Jewell's brand of mystery/thriller but for some reason just haven't made this one happen.
I read The Deal. I loved The Deal. I never continued the series. And no, I don't know why.
Tucker is one of my favorites, but the Burying Water book/series is the one from her that I still haven't read.
This one has been recommended to me so many times.
This has been on my Kindle for years. I just need to be in the mood to have my heart crushed.
Krista & Becca wrote one of my favorite contemporary series ever but I have yet to read this one.
Paranormal romance isn't my usual genre, but the synopsis of this one grabbed me. And yet it remains unread.
Love the cover, love the synopsis, love the other book I've read from Douglas... so when am I finally going to read this one?
Have you read any of these books?
I thought I Found You was pretty good. It wasn't my favorite Lisa Jewell (not that I've read all her stuff, I've kinda fallen behind) but it is good. Hope you enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteWith as much as I enjoy her, I'm surprised I've let it go unread for so long.
DeleteOoh I'm definitely bad at reading books off my kindle! Hope you get to some of these soon :)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT: Book's I've taken off my TBR.
Thanks Elena :)
DeleteI haven't read any of these, but I do want to read more from KA Tucker!
ReplyDeleteShe's such a favorite of mine.
DeleteMy Kindle is well known for hiding books, too.
ReplyDeleteIt's easy for them to get lost and overlooked, isn't it? :)
DeleteI hope you enjoy all of these books! My Kindle hides books, too. LOL.
ReplyDeleteMy post: https://lydiaschoch.com/top-ten-tuesday-books-about-fresh-starts/
Seems to be a common problem. :)
DeleteLet me give you a reading order...
ReplyDeleteBrightside
The Mistake
The Law of Moses
Amour Amour
and then whatever you want next.
I can't believe you haven't read Bright Side. I really need you to read Bright Side.
Okay, Deanna, challenge accepted! I'm going to add at least one of these to my (rather fluid) TBR each month. Bright Side is officially on deck! (eeek!)
DeleteYAY! I can't wait to hear what you think of them.
DeleteThe Law of Moses was so very good! I've been wanting to reread it. And of course, you need to read Brightside!!! Yes, it's sad, but I promise it's so worth it!!
ReplyDeleteI need to just grab my box of Kleenex and dive into Bright Side. :)
DeleteYou do!!
DeleteSame here! I put books on my Kindle and then promptly forget about them. I guess I figure that since I own them, I can read them when I get around to it and then ... I never get around to it. LOL. At least we'll never run out of books to read on our Kindles, right?
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
I'm just the same, Susan. But you're right... we'll definitely never run out of anything to read! :)
DeleteI love your title today - it's funny how we can have stacks of physical books and not forget about them. But the second they become digital, they cease to exist in our brains! Hahaha.
ReplyDeleteGood luck getting to these. I've heard great things about TJ Klune!
Here is our Top Ten Tuesday. Thanks!
Right? I totally forget about all the great books on my Kindle!
DeleteOMG READ IT AINT ME BABE. The Hades Hangmen series is so good. Dark and a little uncomfortable at times, but it's one of my guilty pleasures lol
ReplyDeleteYou're totally reigniting my interest in that one, Molly! I read A Thousand Boy Kisses by Cole several years ago and OMG I hated it. LOL It was so saccharine and schmaltzy and so shameless about trying to make the reader cry. I rolled my eyes through the whole book. Several friends who read Tillie's books swore that wasn't her usual style and to give her another try. So I definitely want to try the Hades Hangmen series!
DeleteGreat list! I've heard so many good things about Wolfsong, and now that I've read and loved The House in the Cerulean Sea I'd really like to read more by TJ Klune.
ReplyDeleteI see so many people rave about Wolfsong. I'm determined to get to it!
DeleteThe Off Campus books are so good. Glad you aren't getting rid of that one. I have the Law of Moses too. We should buddy read that. I don't think I can handle Bright Side. I cried when the author talked about the book
ReplyDeleteExactly why I've put off Bright Side all these years. Gah! But I'm promised Deanna that I'm going to make it happen. :) I'd totally be up for buddy reading The Law of Moses, but you know you read about 1000X faster than me. LOL
DeleteOooh! These sound like interesting books! Great list!
ReplyDeleteHere’s my TTT!

I've not read any of these yet, but the TJ Klune and K.A. Tuckers books are definitely ones I'd like to read. Oh and the Lisa Jewell one.
ReplyDeleteAs much as I love Lisa Jewell, I'm surprised I haven't picked this one up yet.
DeleteGah, the one-freaking-click is always my downfall! It's like, I don't even think about it, my cursor just automatically goes there and my fingers just click! 🙈 I read The Deal last month when I binged the whole Off-Campus series and I enjoyed it but The Deal is still my fave in the series! I'm curious about Penelope Douglas' books... I need to give more of them a try and I've seen this one mentioned a few times, too! Hope you get around to reading these soon and enjoy them 😊
ReplyDeleteI've only read one by Penelope Douglas (Birthday Girl) but I really liked it. And the cover of Punk 57 alone makes me want to read it. LOL
DeleteOne clicking is the worst!!
ReplyDeleteI've read a few of these books including Burying Water (one of my FAVESSS) and Amour Amour and Punk 57! All are pretty good!
Love seeing that about Burying Water! As much as I love Tucker, I can't believe I haven't read that one yet.
DeleteI definitely need to go through my own kindle library. I get an email each day listing all the kindle deals for the day, and I usually can't help myself haha. I think I Found You is waiting on my kindle too!
ReplyDeleteYes! Those daily deals are so hard to ignore.
DeleteI have read and loved Wolfsong, Bright Side, Punk 57, The Mistake and Moses!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm making it a mission to read those this year!
DeleteI've only read Wolfsong. All my friends LOVED it but I thought it was just ok. Good luck working your way through the list!
ReplyDeleteKaren @ For What It's Worth
I hate when that happens. Everyone I know LOVES something and I'm like... meh. It seems to happen to me a lot. LOL I need to learn to just stick with what I want to read instead of being swayed by what others love, even when it doesn't necessarily appeal to me.
DeleteI really need to read the Elle Kennedy series and I think that I have the book by Abbie Roads hiding on my kindle.
ReplyDeleteI really loved that first book in the Off Campus series (way back when) so I have no idea why I didn't continue with the series.
