Top Ten Tuesday: 2016 Releases - The Neglected

Top Ten Tuesday is an original feature/weekly meme
This week's Top Ten Tuesday is about the 2016 releases that I meant to read... didn't get to... but totally plan to. I had such good intentions but yeah, it just didn't happen. If these books were my children someone would have called child services on me for neglect. I wanted them, I bought them, I brought them home... and then I ignored them. Poor neglected babies. Hang in there, lovelies. Your time will come.

Have you read any of these?
What book did you mean to read in 2016 but never got to?

  1. Yes, to Paper Princess and Adorkable. Both are on my TBR and I think will be great reads. Maybe 2017 is the lucky year for these reads.

    1. I hope so, Jazmen. Adorkable looks perfect for when I'm in the mood for cute and light. And everyone raves so much about Paper Princess that I'm sure I'm missing out.

    1. Here I thought I was the last person that hadn't read Paper Princess but it looks like I'm far from alone. We should all agree to read it in 2017. :)

  9. I've only heard of the Paper Princess out of this list! There's been some mixed reviews for it, but supposedly it's really addicting?!? So you want to binge read the series after the first book!

    1. Yeah, I've seen mixed reviews, too, Becca, but I have a couple friends who loved it and have been hounding me to read it. :) We usually like to same books so I trust their reviews of it.

  11. Poor little books! The only one of these I've read is The Lovely Reckless. I'm a bit morbidly curious about All the Ugly and Wonderful Things, so. :-)

    1. Poor little books, indeed. I'm convinced that this is the year all 10 of them will get read. I'm off to a good start because I've already finished All the Ugly and Wonderful Things and it was *phenomenal.* So raw and moving. I can definitely see it being one of my favorites of the year.
