WWW Wednesday #42 | February 27, 2019

WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
Just answer three questions and share what you're reading.

It's bright and sunny right now and about 70 degrees as I type this (at 10 am). But the rain it is a comin'. Woo hoo! By this evening the thunderstorms will be rolling in and you know what that means... perfect reading weather! :) Once I get home from the office and grab some dinner I'm settling in to read. What's your plan for tonight?

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?
Josh & Hazel's Guide to Not Dating - Christina Lauren
Loving this one! Oh my goodness, I can't remember the last time I laughed so much while reading. CLo has a way with zingy dialogue and I love it. I admit I was a little hesitant about this one because sometimes the stereotypical "quirky/wacky" character rubs me the wrong way. It feels too forced. But that is so not the case with Hazel. She is like a breath of fresh air and is just a ray of sunshine. She and Josh together are too precious for words! :)

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?
Vanishing Summer - Lora Richardson
No cover or GoodReads link for this one yet but I'm talking about it anyway. Y'all know I love Richardson's Juniper series and recommend those books every chance I get. Vanishing Summer is the start of a new series and it was just as sweet and genuine and heartfelt as her others. It releases in late March and I'm already looking forward to sharing my review closer to the release date. I so want everyone to meet Greta and Everett!

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL READ NEXT?

I'm in this mood where I want to read All The Things so I don't even know what's next. So many options! I'll wait and see what I feel like after I finish Josh & Hazel, but these are all options. Which one do you think I should read next?

What are you currently reading?
I wanna know! :)

    1. I remember several people saying ACOFAS was just filler and not much happens but I don’t even care. More Feyre and Rhys and all the rest? I’m there. :)

  6. Glad to see you're still having fun with Josh and Hazel. I listened to the audio book and I was laughing my head off on my commute to work. I'm sure people were looking at me like I was a loon, or like I was Hazel, lol!

Starry Eyes was really good, so you can't go wrong there. I want to pick up What the Wind Knows really soon! I think I'll start it after my next review book. Finish Wild Country then The Last Woman in the Forest and then What the Wind Knows. That's what I'm hoping anyhow.

    1. Oh I bet the audio for Josh & Hazel is awesome. So many laugh out loud moments. Last Woman in the forest looks good. I'm super excited for What the Wind Knows but I think I'm going to wait until I have the hard copy. I have the Kindle version but then I won a physical copy in a giveaway. I think I'd rather read that one so hopefully it arrives soon!

LOL I'm glad you're enjoy Josh and Hazel - I wanna read that one too. And you have some good ones in the queue. I wanna read Starry Eyes...oh, geez! There's actually not one on your list I DON'T want to read. So good luck picking one! LOL I'm reading an ARC of When the Gods Forget by Kennedy Daly. I've been eager for this sequel and I'm enjoying it so far. :)

    1. I was happy while it lasted anyway. LOL I like the sound of your reading weather even better! :) Josh & Hazel is just so good - I'm loving it. Never have two people balanced each other so perfectly. I hope the Daly book is just as good as the first one!

  9. Starry Eyes! I'm such a massive fan of Jenn Bennett and absolutely loved that one, looking forward to seeing what you think of it Tanya. I really enjoyed the Court of Thorns and Roses series but Frost and Starlight didn't do it for me at all. It's kind of like deleted scenes from the books that really don't have any importance to the storyline. Worth the read if you want to dive back into that world though.

    1. I've seen so many people say that A Court of Frost and Starlight is unnecessary and really doesn't add anything, but I still want to read it. I don't even care if it doesn't really further the story. I just miss those characters. :)

  10. Yeay! I'm glad you're liking Josh and Hazel! I finally bought it! It went on sale at 99p so I 1-clicked that bad boy. Now, I just need to read it. :)

I love the cover for Starry Night.
    ACOFAS was a let-down for me. :(
