The Sunday Post #65

The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted by Caffeinated Book Reviewer.
It's a chance to share news - a post to recap the past week on your blog,
showcase books and things we have received, and share news about what is
coming up on your blog in the week ahead. You can find the info here:

  • It's been a quiet week both at home and at the office. Hallelujah.
  • I'm slowly making my way through the mountain of ARCs that are all releasing in July/August/September. Never again will I get myself in this position. *sigh*
  • I'm still obsessed with the blush pink color that is everywhere right now (a couple months ago I redid my bedroom in blush). Now it's shoes. I ordered these last week and they were delivered yesterday. I'm in love.♥

    1. I rarely request ARCs but everything seemed to get approved at once and is all releasing in a short period of time. I think I'm going on an ARC hiatus after this. LOL

  10. Haha I want "salad" for dinner tonight! That is pretty color, though I'd be certain to get it very dirty in shoes :/ Good luck with your reading - I've been there and yeah, you won't do it again! LOL! Have a great week!

    1. LOL Yeah, I could eat a lot healthier if salad tasted like pizza. Ha! Thanks Berls! Hope you have a great week, too!

  11. I love the Vans. They are super cute. I am really liked Built. I am a total Crownover fan, and was so happy to keep one foot in the Marked world through this series.

    1. I have such a thing for Vans. My nephews think it's hilarious - I guess because they consider Aunt Tanya "old". LOL I'm currently doing a re-listen of the whole Marked Men series and I can't wait to start the Saints of Denver series.

  12. haha, YES about getting yourself in a bad position with ARCs. I had three ARCs approved in one day and I'm freaking out a little bit because I still haven't gotten to them. I'm planning on August being my Month of ARCs. :D

And, ahh, those shoes are amazing!! I haven't bought myself any shoes in a long time so those are definitely calling my name...

    1. Oh my gosh, 3 approvals in one day. Yeah, that's a lot. I think after I make my way through all the ones I have now I'm going on an ARC hiatus. LOL

I don't buy shoes often, either, but these were calling to me. :)

  13. I totally feel your pain on the too many arc's to read, I have done the same.

    1. Yes, too many ARC's all at one time is stressful. I think I'll be taking a break one I get all these read and reviewed. :)

  14. Why do all the good books come out in July, August and September? Oh, and October, November December. Eep.

Blush pinks and rose gold is a serious thing right now! I love it! And those shoes are gorgeous!

Every time I see the cover of Violet Grenade I think *I want!*

  17. I kind of goofed off for a couple of weeks after blogging ahead and then I got caught by surprise with some review dates looming. It's endless but I do love it. Your mention of pink made me think of Julia Roberts in Steel Magnolia's. Her signature colors were blush and bashful pink.

    1. You gave me such a smile with the Steel Magnolias reference, Laura! One of my all time favorites. And yes, Shelby and her signature color. :) I swear, I can quote that movie until I drive my husband crazy. LOL

    1. Yikes, sounds like your ARC pile is even bigger than mine if it's running thru October. I hate that I'm having to ignore the books I really want to read right now because of the ARCs that *I* requested. Gah! Self-sabotage, much? LOL
