Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl.
This week's Top Ten Tuesday topic:
Book Titles with Numbers
For some reason I thought this week's theme would be tricky, but when I started taking a look at the books I've read I realized there were plenty to choose from. Who knew!
ONE Day in December - Josie Silver
Love Scene, Take TWO - Alex Evansley
Tell Me THREE Things - Julie Buxbaum
Heidi's Guide to FOUR Letter Words - Tara Sivec & Andi Arndt
FIVE Ways to Fall - K.A. Tucker
Daisy Jones & The SIX - Taylor Jenkins Reid
The SEVEN Husbands of Evelyn Hugo - Taylor Jenkins Reid
November 9 - Colleen Hoover
TEN Tiny Breaths - K.A. Tucker
99 Days - Katie Cotugno

Loved Five Ways to Fall, Ten Tiny Breaths, and Tell Me Three Things! Great list, Tanya. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks Rachel! K.A. Tucker has long been a favorite. And choosing Tell Me Three Things reminded me that I really want to read more from Julie Buxbaum!
DeleteI never realised how many books have numbers in the titles either but alas, the only one I've read so far is Ten Tiny Breaths. I'm probably one of the few readers left that hasn't read anything by Taylor Jenkins Reid yet. I have them on my Christmas wishlist this year so fingers crossed. Great list Tanya, looking forward to checking out a few of these on Goodreads.
ReplyDeleteTen Tiny Breaths was the first book I ever read from K.A Tucker. I've read 9 or 10 by her now and that one is still a favorite. I hope you get those TJR books for Christmas! She's amazing.
DeleteOhh we both have One Day in December and November 9 in the list! I've yet to read a bunch from your list, especially Tucker's books.
ReplyDeleteTucker is such a favorite of mine. I've read 9-10 by her now and only one was just okay. All the others I loved. Not bad stats! :)
DeleteGreat list! I really want to cross The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo off my TBR this year.
ReplyDeleteI hope you get to it, Jess! It truly lives up to the hype.
DeleteTen Tiny Breaths does sound interesting.
ReplyDeleteMy TTT.
It's one of my favorites. :)
DeleteGreat list, you have some of my favorites from this year up there - Daisy Jones and One Day in December!
ReplyDeleteLove both of those! Daisy Jones will definitely be among my favorites this year.
DeleteLove this list! Daisy Jones and Evelyn Hugo made it onto my list as well, and I can't believe I forgot about One Day in December (especially since I just posted a review for it a few days ago haha) 😅
ReplyDeleteMy TTT post
Too funny that One Day in December wasn't foremost in your mind. LOL
Delete99 Days has grabbed my attention. Might need to read that one.
ReplyDeleteHere is our Top Ten Tuesday.
99 Days is one of those love it or hate books. I loved it and felt like it was realistic and showed the main characters bad decisions and the consequences. But a lot of people hate it. :(
DeleteTell Me three Things- I love that cover so much. 99 Days is another great one. I like Ten Tiny Breaths too.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover of Tell Me Three Things. And the fact that the waffles play a part in the story. :)
DeleteI haven't read those, but I've heard of most of them. There a few on that list which I really want to read, like Daisy Jones, and the Evelyn Hugo one.
ReplyDeleteDaisy Jones and Evelyn Hugo were both so, so good. I'm convinced that Taylor Jenkins Reid can do no wrong.
DeleteI've read November 9 and Ten Tiny Breaths. I never did read past Ten Tiny Breaths in that series, though. I'd like to go back and finish it, but now I'd have to reread Ten Tiny Breaths first. Nice selection you picked out!
ReplyDeleteIt's been years since I read Ten Tiny Breaths and the rest of the companion books. TTB was my favorite of them but books 3 and 4 were great, too (#2 was the only one that didn't thrill me).
DeleteOh yes you nailed it Tanya LOL
ReplyDeleteThis was a fun/easy theme :)
DeleteI need to make time to read Evelyn Hugo... I also want to read Love Scene, Take Two.
ReplyDeleteI struggled with this topic but I'm looking at everyone's lists I'm nodding away amazed that I could forget/miss so many! Heck, two of my beloved Guild Codex books have numbers in the title! Did I realise and put them on my list? Nope! lol
Evelyn Hugo is such a tour de force. Really unforgettable. And Love Scene, Take Two was so light and fun.
DeleteIsn't is funny how many you can think of after the fact? LOL
One Day in December made me cry ridiculous crocodile tears! The ending was so sweet and took ENTIRELY TOO LONG TO HAPPEN. The audiobook was fantastic. I really want to read Daisy Jones and the Six! I've only heard amazing things about it, and I've heard its audio is amazing.
ReplyDeleteLindsi @ Do You Dog-ear? 💬
I might try the audio of One Day in December if/when I feel like doing a re-read of it. Daisy Jones was so, so good. I loved immersing myself in the print version but I've heard the audio is super well done!
DeleteEvelyn Hugo made my list this week too. Surprisingly, I actually forgot about Daisy Jones and the Six which is another great choice for this list.
ReplyDeleteI find it interesting that Taylor Jenkins Reid released books back to back with numbers in the title.
DeleteI was not able to achieve the 1 - 10. I am missing a few numbers on my read shelf, but you have some good ones on this list. You know I adore Buxbaum, and One Day in December is a favorite of mine as well. It was such an emotional ride, and it was fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI tried hard for 1-10 but couldn't make it work. That darn #8 tripped me up. LOL One Day in December was so good and I can't wait to read more from Josie Silver!
