There are few things I love more than books and reading. So it was kind of a no-brainer when I was deciding what to give away as my favorite thing. But just offering up the usual "winner's choice of book" seemed kind of boring and impersonal. So I decided to take it a step further. Kick it up a notch.
Because while I do love my books, I really love my books that are signed by the author. There's something so special about owning a copy that the author took the time to sign. I love attending author events and getting my books signed in person. Having a few minutes (and sometimes longer) to speak to the author, making a quick connection, and walking away with a personalized copy. Sometimes signed copies come from other avenues, though. A bookstore might have a few signed editions, or maybe a signed copy came with a bookish subscription box. No matter how I got them, my signed books are pretty special to me.
As it happens, I have duplicate copies of some signed books. Sometimes I met the author at an event and got an extra copy signed for a future giveaway (that I never got around to posting LOL) or maybe I received a signed copy in a subscription box and already had a personalized copy of my own. Either way, I have the following signed copies available and the winner of this giveaway has their choice of one book. (Note: While my last several giveaways have been open to everyone, I'm afraid this giveaway will be for U.S. residents only. International shipping rates being what they are makes shipping a book overseas cost prohibitive.)
And now for the books! The winner of the giveaway can choose one from the following signed editions:

My pleasure, Lauren! I hope a few more bloggers signed on to take part!
DeleteI entered because of Addicted to You. I went to a big signing in Seattle years ago and they were there. I hadn't read their books yet and didn't know who they were. I'm still kicking myself for not buying one of their books there and having them sign it. Thanks for the chance to take part in the giveaway. :) And Happy Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteI would choose Hollywood Dirt!
ReplyDeleteWonderful giveaway, Tanya! I love the banner too! I still need to get to the Ritchie girl's series someday. :)
ReplyDeleteOooh, I never actually thought to do that! Maybe I'll take a book or two to be signed at RARE for future giveaways. :)
ReplyDeleteSigned books can be so cool. How fun! :)
ReplyDeleteI would choose Too Late!

How fun! I've never had a book signed in person.
ReplyDeleteIf I won, I'd choose the Colleen Hoover book.
I've had times where I had an extra book signed for a giveaway and then never managed to actually do the giveaway. LOL! Good thing I'm not alone. :-)
ReplyDeleteIf I won the giveaway, I would choose the CoHo book!
