WWW Wednesdays is a meme hosted by Taking on a World of Words.
Just answer three questions and share what you're reading.

We're having record high temperatures for this time of year. It's supposed to be 85 degrees today. Eighty-five. Did Florida decide to skip winter and I missed the announcement?

WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY READING?

It took me a little while to really get into Great and Precious Things since it felt like the story had a kind of slow start. Things really picked up, though, and I'm definitely invested in Willow and Camden. The people in this small town, though... wow. These people can seriously hold a grudge and assign blame. It's brutal.

I picked up The Music of What Happens based on Sam's review and I'm so glad I did. My library only had the audio version and it's been great. Max and Jordan are these wonderful, funny, flawed characters and I've loved watching their relationship evolve. I really need two things to happen, though, and I'm anxious to see how things will play out.

WHAT DID YOU RECENTLY FINISH READING?

My second read from Corinne Michaels was another hit. Come Back for Me, the first book in her new series, pulled me in from the very start and kept me on edge, so desperate for good things to happen for these characters. This was an emotional read and the audio performances were superb. Plus, the set-up for the next book was so good and I can't wait until it releases!

WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'LL READ NEXT?

As I mentioned in my Sunday Post, I received a PR package for Malice even though I didn't request it. It's not something I ever would have picked up on my own but I've gotta say the synopsis is super intriguing. And Shannon raves about it. So I might just give it a try.

What are you currently reading?
I wanna know! :)

  1. I haven't read any of those books in Michaels' new series. I guess I should. They sound good. I don't know why I stopped reading her books. I hope you enjoy Regretting You!

    1. Isn't it crazy? Of course things revered overnight and now it's rainy and about 30 degrees cooler. Typical Florida! :)

  3. The pain your are suffering as you listen to The Music of What Happens is worth it, though the ending is what I would call bittersweet. Hope the things you need to happen happen

  6. It's going to be like 53 where I live tomorrow, which is definitely unusual. We've gotten so much rain and almost no snow this winter!

    1. I'd been meaning to read Yarros' The Last Letter first but just never got around to it. And Great and Precious Things I definitely want to read more by her.

  9. I'm going to wait and see whether you're happy with the ending of Great and Precious Things before I dare think about buying it. I get all nervous with Yarros military reads... I can't help it. She's given me trust issues, lol.

  10. I'm so glad to hear you're enjoying The Music of What Happens! It looks and sounds so good and I've been wanting to read it ever since I heard about it. I've also been seeing a lot about 'Malice' lately and although it's also not a book I think I'd usually pick up, my curiosity has been piqued! I hope you enjoy it :)

    1. The Music of What Happens was such a good read (well, listen), Dini. Totally recommend it. I'm having mixed feelings about Malice. Like you, it's not something I ever would have picked up on my own and I'm kind of struggling with it.

  11. Oh my goodness, that is so warm! Winter is missing out here too, we should have a foot or two of snow almost every week and we've had nothing for the last month. Eeks. Ohhh I still need to read a Corinne Michaels book *hides face*.
